Where were you when you realised women are more powerful and better in general with tech than men?

Wasn’t tech originally dominated by women? I know that programming was once considered an acceptable profession for women back when society was much less accommodating.

>tfw if the report would claim that men are better in anything than women everyone involved would be called a nazi

you mean secretaries on typewriters?

Bahahaha!!! Women were just typists back then. Men wrote the programs out by hand then the women typed it up. They didn't program shit, they just copy & pasted what the men created

Originally when? And which tech?
Women started taking full jobs after world war I, because men were busy killing each other. Still, most jobs they took were low-level and non-tech specific. Search for photos from IBMs beginnings, it's all men.

Ada Lovelace is a meme from clockwork computer punchcard times who helped Babbage write early programs and gave him cash.

Hard to say if men are better for tech or if it's just caused by the way both sexes are educated, but empowering women for the sake of empowering women so they can take jobs they dont want or need is causing tons of fucked up problems.

It's not about gender it's about generation. Nu techies nowadays are pajeets and iToddlers both of them are inferior to old-school tech and based Jews.

>no data in the article, but hey it's all here on this link
>not yet, you must click this link now
>oh look, you must follow yet another link
Gave up on the third one. Clickbait for ad revenue from as much sources as they can

>pajeets
why is g so threatened by desis

>implying pajeets aren't browner kikes

what are desis?
i only know desus.

>women are better in tech than men
>women are superior in general
But somehow this means they shouldn't be responsible for the most important thing in the world: keeping a family.

since nobody said it yet

>meanwhile in reality
>technology was invented entirely by men with one or two footnote women making contributions

I would click the link but its cnet. I don't want to be ear raped by some auto playing video

What is Grace Hopper for 500. Im sure men dominated tech, but some women did have some influence. It's my inclination of those that enjoy tech can get very good add if - it just so happens that more men than women are interested in tech.

invented cobol.

ctrl-f gender

>Women, with slightly higher aggregate digital scores (48) than men (45), represent about three-quarters of the workforce in many of the largest medium-digital occupational groups, such as health care, office administration, and education. Conversely, men continue to dominate the highest-level digital occupations, such as computer, engineering and management fields, as well as lower-digital occupations such as transportation, construction, natural resources, and building and grounds occupations.

That is what the study actually said.

The rating isn't about women being better than men about tech. It's about a rating they give to jobs based on how "digitalized" they are, and the average women has a higher average digitalized score because they are more represented in medium digitilazed jobs, while men have more lower digitalized and higher digitalized scores based on their jobs.

This isn't based on women vs men job performance in tech. It is based on how "digitalized" their job is.

Isn’t that sexist?

If women are more competent than men at everything, why do they have to bitch and whine at men to do everything for them all the time?

>cnet.com/

Fucking lugenpresse at it again. Their conclusion is about as grounded in reality as concluding that because women tend to stare at both parties in roughly equal measure when watching vanilla porn, straight people don't really exist.

Didn't she just translate a book? I know "the first program" was her summarizing a Italian guy's point in the margins

what significance does such a number even have?
might as well calculate how much yellow is in the company logos where men vs. women work to determine how yellowized they are

>because women tend to stare at both parties in roughly equal measure when watching vanilla porn
so do i
lesbian porn is as vanilla as they come

need I show more?

Hi, yes. Very lovely clickbait headline you have here from a YEAR OLD NEWS ARTICLE.

From the study, the mean digitalization score was indeed 48 for women and 45 for men. But if you had bothered to read Figure 17 on page 35, the breakdown by industry, you would see that both the most and least technical jobs are dominated by men, where women dominate middle tech jobs such as office work and especially health care support.

In statistics, a mean value is effectively worthless in a sample that does not mostly occupy a middle ground like the male group here. The comments on the article already called out this bullshit.

pointing out the obvious doesn't make for good news articles
no publicity is bad publicity, it doesn't really matter if the article is accurate, only that people read it and spread it around
