Windows 10 upgrade doesn't exist anymore but i have found this Media Creation Tool guide to install W10 with a USB drive. Should i go for this method or buy this fucking OS? I fucking hate MS so much, fuck this monopoly and fuck being forced to use this thing to play games on PC. Thanks in advance.
get a q6600, do the 266->333mhz fsb tape mod, 8gb of cheap ass ddr2, maybe get a used gtx 750 ti if you want to play games (make sure it's a single slot card and not too long), if you want to go that far maybe also the cheapest used 120gb ssd you can find

No, you need a DMS-59 to DVI adapter between that cable and the card. I don't think there's a direct DMS-59 to HDMI adapter, you'll always have to go through DVI at some point

When dualbooting Windows 7 and 10 with each OS in its own separate drive, is there a way to get something like Linux's GRUB or some other screen that shows up automatically when turning the PC on and lets me select which OS I want, so I don't have to manually go into the uefi settings and choose which drive to boot from?

Waterfox might offer you more functionality and less botnet, roughly the same resource usage though.
For a lower resource footprint, you'll have to give up a lot functionality - something like "Light" - which you can't even use for Jow Forums, lest you're VIP, as it can't handle Captcha 2.0, nor 4chanX.

If it's just for a hobby, depends on what you want to do. C++/C# for games, Pearl for logic/math/web. The latter is a bit easier to learn, the former might be easier to work with if you're a Windows user.
