Why does Apple always cheat at benchmarks?

Why does Apple always cheat at benchmarks?

Do they really think people won't notice the massive performance difference in real usage?

yikes

itoddlers will defend this

please explain it to me.

Apple can't hack a good CPU so they do everything they can to lie on benchmarks to pretend that they do. That's why gookbench scores are shilled so hard on youtube because apple pays reviewers to use them in exchange for first dibs on iPhones when they come out.

so what does this particular function do?

funny, when i search code on git for 'geekbench' now, it gives me this pic related...

where can i view these 3 entries?

Probably uses a different system config that's unusable for normal apps and is highly tuned to perform well only under benchmarking tests. Applel never changes.

Well fucking duh. I was curious about something more specific, but alright.

Here's the file. I don't feel like figuring out what it does. One of you autists can have at it.

>have money
>buy apple
Wut...
It's like you can afford to build a house out of the best material around but you decide to build it out of literal shit.

you only have one? poorfag.

fuck me, I thought my code was badly commented..

>github.com/apple/darwin-xnu/search?q=geekbench&unscoped_q=geekbench
works, thanks

>Just positing a random line of code without any source or prof that it is presence on stock firmware

The absolute state of McDonald managers

>I’m retarded but somebody smarter can try for me
And that’s why you work at McDonalds

Cry more poorfag

Why would I need two? Do you think I’m a ghetto nigger that needs two sims like your dad?

>I’m retarded but somebody smarter can try for me

Then you explain it? Why would I waste my time? I don't use iPhones so I don't care what they do with their benchmarks.

At least i am not a brainlet that buys apple.

>I don’t care
>Makes thread around it crying like a little retard
Lmao. Like clockwork, now you pretend your time is worth anything

Laughable

What are you talking about? I didn't make the thread. My suspicion is OP is a faggot, and it's literally nothing and completely benign.

>>Just positing a random line of code without any source or prof that it is presence on stock firmware
>don't worry, guys. darwin xnu doesn't have anything to do with apple, it's only the basis of their OS for decade

not wasting my time anymore on this pseudo-sour-grapes scenerio.

That’s you though Andreet

cope

t. ex- iPhone user

“Coincidence”
Apple name geekbench stdlib write in 2006 for some microbenchmark

>can’t even prove source or presence of the line of code inside a stock firmware image
I’ll be waiting, get an ipsw and record your way to the line of code

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i can't quite piece it together, but from the comments in the program, it does seem nefarious...
/*
* initialize your state variables here last
*
* and realize that you are paying for your initialization here
* and it is really a bad idea
*/
It’s because op wrote this ebin code in a blatant attempt to create something viral

>inb4 damage control

>What are we certificates
>Not even geekbench
Ok

>Apple owns benchmark
>only Apple's own benchmark benches higher than competitors
>Applefags will defend this, because buyer's remorse is a foreign concept

a fool and his money, eh?

>Sent from My IPhone XS Max 512GB
proof?

will you faggots stop feeding the trolls already?

Geekbench is literally owned by Apple.

no way

just checked it, it is real

>8/17/06

Apple has been playing the long game, I see.

>facts and evidence
>lol cope

Back to the street

>micro-samples from unverified responses
GOT EM

>can’t use his OS developers search engine to verify
XD

>512GB
Holy shit, why did they put so much memory on a phone

Because people are trying to replace computers with them as VR matures. Though 512GB is very constrained for a computer, samshit has a msd slot so total storage will be 1TB right now.
