It's Puppy though
How do these faggots make these reskin distros though? They just clone an image of their system?
that looks like shit
just like the computers it's meant to run on, so i'd say it'x adequate
>tried it for literally 5 minutes
>opened some tools and it bugged out
Amateur to the extreme
Does shutdown work now? Last time I tried it nothing worked to shutdown the computer from within the OS. Seems like a really good Gentoo installer otherwise.
Can't prove you wrong, it's the only 'lightweight' distro that's tested on old computers by devs and users, built with feedback from the community instead of devs just doing whatever the fuck they want like Lubuntu and GNOME people
The only bad thing it's that the lead is a literal commie, but that's a low price to pay for one of the few systemd-free strongholds
That looks like Maryland/DC. Is it?
Will it work with my laptops volume/brightness function keys out of the box? That's literally all that's missing from lxde. And no manual config plz, if I wanted that I'd do it in my current lxde install which works fine otherwise.
>Will it work with my laptops volume/brightness function keys out of the box?
It does for the 3 laptops I tested it with
post pape based user
The combination of cheap blocky icons with that transparent overlay on the the other side is quite pleasing. Did someone say systemd fee?
Yeah, that's a red line WMATA train. Although those older models of train car are being phased out by the 7000 series. Also I recognize those hexagon pattern of station tiles.
Antifa botnet
github.com
In my (limited) experience, it's pretty great for that.
Wow you're right. Hope there's no commie botnet built in.
Thanks for outing kike puppets. Won't be long before race traitors are lynched.
>antix
>antics
>antiques
heh
Friendly reminder capitalism is communism with shiny widgets and more effective brainwashing.
The world will be cleansed, one commie at a time.
TempleOS will overtake Linux and prevail, because God is good, and God kills niggers.

Explain to me how it is better than Lubuntu.
Lubuntu is the only distro I've tried on my Satellite A105 that worked out of the box.
The newest Puppy Linux was completely broken on it and I gave up.
>low price to pay
There is no room for negotiation with those faggots. I don't care if by some miracle a socialist managed to produce something of quality for once. I'm not touching anything they make (i.e. either steal or haphazardly cobble together) with a 1au sized pole.
Does it have volume and brightness out of the box? Cause I think mine didn't.
On my Satellite the volume knob thing worked perfect. Brightness... not so much... or at all.
The main thing it had was that it recognized and loaded drivers for all of my hardware besides the webcam which I don't care at all about.
What hardware? Lubuntu is not noticeably better than any other distro at drivers.
Pentium E2160 CPU
945ABG wireless card last I knew
Puppy didn't recognize the touchpad or the wifi nic. It also would fuck itself if I closed the screen.
It's a Toshiba Satellite A105. I don't remember all the hardware. I do know Windows 7 runs like shit on it even with 2GB RAM
>Puppy
Oh, should've begun there. Puppy is 10 year old dogshit, of course it's gonna have shitty drivers.
yes, that's also the screenshot they posted on DW
apparently the main guys from the team are commies who live in the DC area
Puppy worked fantastically on my Elitebook
It worked well on a newer laptop I tried it with
Ew. This is why we need image spoilers on this board

>antiX-17 “Heather Heyer”

Slackware current works better on my shitty 1225B AND eats less ram in idle.
Also, more stable.
Nope
You should stop using all current technology since you can be sure some socialist had a hand in it directly or indirectly
And you can't say anticapitalista made it since there's pretty much zero custom packages in it, and most of the custom packages come from MEPIS and now MX
No botnet but no real effort against the botnet either
Lubuntu changed direction recently to focus on 2+GB RAM machines, and a DE as LXDE has never been as lightweight as a WM, like IceWM or ROX, and a few lightweight programs
MX 17 looks better
Absolutely based.
I mostly just use Slackware or Debian on such old systems. anything that will boot and run well on strictly 686 hardware, with a software selection suitable for a system with less than 1GB RAM. I run Slackware on my Pentium III system for when I need it on my network. Mostly just to transfer files for the Win98se install. Seen people use FreeBSD on such old systems too (i think mmxchan was hosted on an even older system running FreeBSD). It can be a bit annoying to find a distro that works on old systems sometimes, since many require newer instruction sets, even tho they're listed as a distro for 386-686.
>Prove me wrong
Can't I actually really like antiX, but I will also agree with someone who hates this, but likes another distro. It is all just personal preference.
I'm a Debian Minimal guy myself.
go back to Jow Forums you faggot. Or even better, go outside so someone can bully you again, just like in high school.
>commie botnet
capitalism is the cause of botnets silly
Thinking Communists are vermin isn't limited to the far-right you shithead. Your filthy ideology and everyone that preaches it needs a fucking bullet to the head.
Stay mad, jew boy.
