Elaborate

todos los teléfonos LG son mierda y bootloop. ¿No es cierto Juan?

Just make sure to get the Verizon or US996 version. I have the T-mobile variant and that thing is never seeing an update to Oreo.

>no updates
>screen retention that gets worse with time
>bootloops

BOOT
LOOPS

>no updates
If your still using a v20 your probably rooted with custom rom
>screen retention that gets worse
Use sfilter but yeah this sux
>bootloops
Never had it bootloop yet and I can just restore bootloader to default and root again easily.

$150 used is easily worth it for the quad dac and the removable battery

>Never had it bootloop yet and I can just restore bootloader to default and root again easily.
It's a hardware issue.

The ir blaster is nice

To fix screen retention, just use the following screen settings in Kernel Adiutor with a kernel that supports kcal (I'm using gamma kernel).

RGB: 240
Minimum RGB Value: 35
Saturation Intensity: 60
Screen Hue: 1520
Screen Value: 130
Screen Contrast: 130

You can toy with the settings as you wish (like saturation especially), but they've worked fine for me. I have zero ghosting and I just have the settings applied at boot.

LG curved smartphone comedy option

It gets hot but i love it I'm probably gonna buy a second one just in case.

>replaceable battery
>no notch
>3.5mm jack
These are all cons.

>Have v10
>Everything great
>One day restart phone
>It never gets past the LG screen

Bootloop

This is a v20 thread

V20 will still die on you if the charging port fucks up. Happened to mine.

>SD820
nope

Your face is a con

spray alcohol into the port, its a water issue.

I've tried that. It works normally but will randomly shit the bed. Had to buy another phone cause I couldn't trust it.

V20 doesn't have this problem

>If your still using a v20 your probably rooted with custom rom
haven't rooted mine, works fine
>screen retention that gets worse with time
yeah it's pretty bad
>bootloops
have never had this issue, only time I've heard of it is on Jow Forums so im going to assume it's the same tinfoil hat bullshit as that guy that posts about the win10 taskbar icons

stupid niggas still haven't figured out that they pay just $150 for a defective phone s m h

>only time I've heard of it is on Jow Forums
lmao imagine denying an issue that even lg acknowledged

I wish i could use the stock can on custom roms i love the hifi audio when recording vids. I still don't know if the dac works with custom roms.

you forgot his mum

G5 SE owner here for 1 2/3 years - no issues

the essential phone for $200 is pretty based, but it's not redpilled

I'm seeing some of these on ebay marked just for Sprint, not seeing "Unlocked" anywhere on the listing, but I should still be able to pop a Verizon SIM in there and have it work right? Or would I be SOL?

Posting on my V20 right now. Runs really smooth, the configurable second screen is the perfect solution to the "notch" problem, camera is great, audio jack and replaceable battery are also great. I've also heard it's pretty durable for a flagship, not that I've tested it. Only downsides are the screen ghosting (goes away fairly easily and isn't that bad, just sometimes distorts color at the edges), lack of native support for SIP/IAX services (no idea why LG does this, android is supposed to support it) and a severe lack of custom ROMs for some variants like my H915. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my V20 purchase for 220 Canadian monopoly dollars about a month ago.

v20 is actually first phone to HAVE notch.

screen is fragile, it cracks on scratches. same for camera glass. this are the only cons.

pros:
removable battery
easy screen replacement
cheap replacement screens
lineage and resurrection remix support (with second display)
expandable storage
great camera shoots video with stereo sound
great DAC - no placebo you can hear the difference.

i consider buying two more for years to come until their are still in sale new
