Ryzen 5 1400 with 8gb ram and a 1060. Switching between the different options in the settings takes like 300ms. It should be fucking instantaneous, for every hardware improvement there is they make the software slower. Fuck that.

I like aero, and it's one of many reasons I don't want 10. I have a desktop, I'm not worried about touch screens and power consumption let me have my pseudo 3d because my computer can actually handle it. Dunno what to do when I eventually gotta probably go to linux. Is there stuff that gets similar style on there? I mean yeah it wouldn't be the same but is there anything "close" ?
