Found an old 2012 macbook pro with a broken hinge at the flea market for $5, the old guy tld me it didnt turn on, i bout it anyway just to flip it on ebay for parts.

Turns out the video ribbon cable dissconected from the board when the hinge broke, rdered a set of hinges and now i have a fully functional Core i5 4GB RAM, 500GB HD Macbook Pro running Mojave.

There's a nice sale for the i5 128gb 8gb ram + type cover for 750gbp, I ordered directly from Microsofts store online, I live in Bulgaria, shipping was free, I used Microsoft's UK postal code for the billing address. Add the pen and it's roughly 900 Euro total. Pretty good deal. Here a similar configuration will cost me 1500 Euro .
