Lenovo used to be called IBM

Sort of off.

The computer division got "bought" (really just licensed) to lenovo.

The rest of the company went to become a really really insanely shitty (like, holy shit they are a bunch of fucking idiots) IaaS and consulting company still called IBM.

Just remember kids, don't touch anything IBM made after 2005.

Sikorsky and Bell helped Pinochet conduct death flights.
McDonalds helped Americans get fat.

Lenovo used to be called Legend, and the holding company still does

actually i do
aix support is ass
ibm outsources all physical support to EMC, they're the ones sending techs or managing servers
their focus on cloud shit is just bullshit, leaving physical customers in the dust as usual
most (all) their shit is overpriced, especially "support" (the one thing that should be worth paying for)
lots of turnover, we've gone through 3 different reps this year alone
