The university I'm at has a 12000€ scholarship if you commit to a 3 year CS cursus ans have a vagina. It's financed by companies too, apparently they really want female programmers for some reason. I guess that's not enough because there are 3 girls for 80 guys in my year.

Because its not a dichotomy and you could spend that money in neither of those places, you could for example just buy the fucking shit you wanted to buy, since it's your fair and square earned money and you're entitled to every last penny of it.
