Libplacebo is the end of madshi and directshow based abominations.

What do you mean??

He was really inactive this summer, but it was an extremely warm summer, so I understand.

Is there a script to start caching the next video on a youtube playlist before the current one ended?

Why do you fuck need an entire general for one program
You don't see /brave/ threads
Or /clover/ generals
How much can you possibly discuss about your anime viewer, weebshits?

I can't wait for VDD2018 videos and hear hanna-chan's voice

Okay, why the fuck does pixel soups keep happening on streamed youtube videos?

Strange thing is that first time I streamed it did pixel soup and sound randomly stopped or the sound would go on and video freeze.
Few seconds later I stream it again and it's perfectly fine.
Pretty close.

I knew this is some case of "werks on my machine" but are you all using bestvideo+bestaudio?

ytdl=yes
hls-bitrate=max
ytdl-format=bestvideo[height

You're trying to use a different ffmpeg version than what mpv was built with?

You dumb nigger, this month has been brutal on ytdl with Google's new obfuscation bullshit. You aren't showing version information on that. Probably needs an update.

there are emacs and haiku os generals right now
lol

Don't take the bait, user.

shut up nigger youtube-dl is doing just fine and this didn't appear overnight, it's been going on way before google's SJW got back from their vacations in your hometown.

cool, enjoy your artifacting

I have a slightly related problem. Every time I try to play a 4k stream from YouTube the cache stays very low like
>AV: 00:00:39 / 00:16:44 (3%) A-V: -0.008 DS: 0.990/9 Dropped: 27 Cache: 0s+842KB
and then it stutters and pauses and plays a bit and stutters. For now I've simply changed
ytdl-format=bestvideo[height

Attached: half-utilized.png (1261x1371, 182K)

I used the same settings except commented out the ytdl-format line to get 4k and I had no trouble caching or playing this file. Not sure what's happening on your end. I don't even have that great of internet. Maybe youtube is throttling you? idk

Attached: watch_v=Bey4XXJAqS8_00_00_58_0002_mpv.jpg (3840x2160, 2.7M)

When's it coming out? It should already have happened few days ago.

I see you're watching 30 fps. try youtube.com/watch?v=6Xub6Pi1xsE

if those settings work for you and it caches the there's likely something on my end. it probably will work since 30fps works fine.

Odd thing is that with my old settings, which I went back to now,
ytdl-format=bestvideo[heightAV: 00:10:06 / 00:16:44 (60%) A-V: -0.006 DS: 1.000/5 Dropped: 7 Cache: 94s+135MB

so it appears to work, just not at 4k. Perhaps I should try some 4k30fps.

it's possible that youtube is throttling my ISP or that my ISP is throttling youtube but that'd be odd since I'm in the EU and that kind of thing isn't allowed in the fascist union

Attached: watch_v=6Xub6Pi1xsE_00_00_28_0001_mpv.jpg (3840x2160, 2.55M)

well, I guess if it works for you with the same settings then it's my Internet or something like that..
