Dude just use VPN for privacy

>google knows you are using it
>gives you 20 pages of captcha
>email sites don't let you sign in because of 'unnatural activity'
>email sites don't let you sign up
>experience internet on fraction of your total speed
>moot doesn't let you post on his site
>have to spend money every month for rerouting
>you send your whole data to some jew and hope he doesn't sell it

Can we stop this dumb VPN meme.

Not to mention that using a VPN makes you more identifiable than using clear net, unless on a purely state of the art closed loop the whole internet is botnetted to a degree where patterns are becoming authentifiers

>be average user
>do average stuff on the internet
>fbi doesn't give a flying fuck

>be idiot user
>think that vpn makes you invisible
>fbi puts you on special observation list
>have all downsides from

If they are able to track down real haxors, they can track you too user. Drop the vpn and save your money

PIA is associated with Mark Karpelès which is well known incompetent scumbag

you can as well use unencrypted unknown open proxy servers for the same amount of security

An average user doesn't use email or search engines?

Bitmask is okay

t. simpleton

You don't have these problems with a good vpn, and this
>moot doesn't let you post on his site
is why anons don't share which vpn they use on Jow Forums unless they're a shill.

Normies too dumb to rent a dollar cheap VPS and set up a VPN with IP address nobody gives a fuck about.

>rent a dollar vps
>even cheapest vps plan costs same as vpn

Are you a brainlet?

When you purchase a VPN service, they merely give you access to IP addresses that has already been banned and blocked on every possible websites that cares even a little about that sort of thing. Basically, when you use that IP you look like some fucker who tries to download CP and torrents shitton of copyrighted content whole day, because it's the first thing brainlets do when they get a VPN.
With VPS only you conrtol who has access to that IP, and only you control what kind of footprint it leaves on the net. Also, you can configure proper firewall, adblock and all that kind of stuff on server side and don't waste your computer's resources.

This. Just buy a VPS and make your own VPN

This.
Using a VPN actually makes you stand out even more so they can focus on you easily if they want to

ITT: Those who rely of other peoples data to make a living are scared as fuck that they won't be able to make ends meet.

kek.

>PIA
>Privacy
Hahahahaahahahahahahsh

They have said in court several times they are unable to provide logs due to not saving them

Proves absolutely nothing

>privacy
>somebody ELSES VPN
hahahaha

>>email sites don't let you sign in because of 'unnatural activity'
>>email sites don't let you sign up
Not happening with cock.li

Are you retarded?

I need a VPN to torrent

Better use IPFS

People are still trying to shill other VPNs in 2018? Sad.

VPN obscures your IP. That's it. Private Internet access is great, but they are popular, so their IPs are usually banned or tagged as VPNs. But VPN is great if you need to hide your IP, for example for torrenting. PIA is not slow. I get 7+ Mbps out of it.

That said, "most" people don't need VPNs, especially if you live outside the US and don't have to worry about copy right. Your IP says very little about you other then a very general area of where you are, and what ISP you are using. Your browser fingerprint is used to track you. If you really want privacy when browsing its more important to either make your fingerprint very generic, or use settings like finger print resistance on firefox.

And of course make sure any service you are using is using TLS.

Can you source all your claims?
>you send your whole data to some jew
Ooooooooohhh. Forget I asked.

>2018
>Not using your neighbours WiFi to stay hidden

Are you?

>what is wpa2?
>vuln discovered this year
>github.com/vanhoefm/krackattacks-scripts
>don't know how to use

>Remember that our scripts are not attack scripts! You require network credentials in order to test if an access point or client is affected by the attack.

can you explain what it is and how it is different from things such as i2p?

Re-read a bit about it, seems that it just does man in the middle but cannot decrypt packets captured, only replay them etc... I don't see how this is useful

can you recommend a good and cheap vps service?

DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr. Good luck

>unironically talking about using using cock.li on a privacy thread
kys

PIA is CIA honeypot. Use Nord or Mullvad instead

>DigitalOcean
Only reason to EVER use digitalocean is because they give out free credit.
I personally use box.cock.li/

Nord is too, use either cryptostorm, mullvad or proxysh.

>Mullvad
Mossad honeypot.

Sure

Holy shit amount of contrairian comspiracy fud in this thread. A vpn hides your traffic from your isp. There is nothing wrong with pia. Your isp sells your data and will gladly give it to the feds, pia wont because if people found out they did it would ruin the business model. Vpn isnt an end all be all security measure but its always better to use a trusted vpn than not.

With a vps you now have an ip that you paid for and is only associated to you and can be used to identify you and h9ld you accountable. A vpn being shared by tons of people means you are not accountable for what those people do with that ip and it cannot be proved it was you. Using cookie footprints and shit doesnt hold up in court, neither does ip most the time, but you paying for an ip assigned to you is used to prove identity in court.
