I still have a G5, G500, G500s G502 and G9x all in working order.
I also have some trackball from the late 80's that still works, but modern computers don't have serial ports so it's been collecting dust for a few years.
The Wheel on the G5 got a little nasty from the rubber or whatever breaking down, all the others are fine.
I had a Razer mouse that lasted 3 months once, I've bought logitech ever since.

Like 4 of the times I repaired it was because the cord frayed or was chewed through by one of my pets. One of them was because it was so old and filthy, it was less a repair and more just a flat out refurbishing, i replaced the pads, disassembled the wheel and deep cleaned it, etc.

The G9x I use at work on a shared computer is in bad shape some faggot picked at the scroll wheel rubber or something so it's all gone and the the anti-slip coating wore through.
Still works though.
Personally I use a G400s which is a bit larger and heavier than I would like it to be for my fingertip grip.
Will either go with the G102 or spend more for one of the Asus mice with hotplug switches for my next mouse. I don't go over 3000DPI these days anyway.

Been using mine about a year now too. Probably the only mouse I can imagine ill be using for a very long time. Only use it for work tho but even for daily 8-10hr heavy use my hands never feel tired.
