Google photos for color/luminosity editing and Markup for drawing. Both native Android tools.
Why would I need anything else?
CCMaker.exe
I use paint .net
It's great.
I'm straight up gimp nigga.
GIMP
The only correct answer. 2.10 is great, it can take advantage of opencl if you have hardware that supports it.
I've used gimp my whole life and while it does work, I'm tired of dealing with thier bullshit. Awful interface, terribly designed add on support, shitty scaling issues when it comes to certain interface elements, and half baked tool implementation.
Tried affinity photo and really liked it. I have a feeling it's going to go on sale after they finish beta testing thier new thing so I'm waiting.
GIMP, or the stock photo editor built into Samsung Gallery app on the note 9.
photoshop
Photoshop, it's what I know well - that, indesign and illustrator.
Photoshop because I have a students licence for CC, so may as well use it.
krita
I can agree with your choice. I was thinkiing about an OTP for Affinity in the future. I currenty have both PS and AP cracked on my desktop.
gimp on the laptop and pocketpaint on the phone.
kids use krita and medibang and swear by it - even after I got them cracked CS.
inkscape
I'm a digital artist so it's hard for my to compromise with other programs like GIMP. So I cracked Photoshop and Illustrator.
*me

GNU Image Manipulation Program

My youngest daughter is also an uncompromising "digital artiste". Good for you.
I use Gimp, because it's free and I don't want to risk getting virused.
Affinity, because it does everything I need it to do and fuck the adobe subscription model.
