I'm running a relay on a raspberry pi for several years now. Using a static IP from my provider for it.

how'd you go about getting a static IP from your ISP? just asked them?

Nice try NSA

Not the user you replied to, but call your ISP and ask them for a static IP. The price may vary. I got charged anywhere from 0 to 2.5$ per month.

paying extra. Static IPs are usually available in offers aimed at (small) businesses.

>implying tor needs a static ip
And then pays extra for it.
I hope you at least donate 100 mbit/s

No need to go through the ISP, Gentoo has the ability to give you one, give that an install.
