I've been using the S60 for 2 years, I absolutely love it.

Attached: EDC2018.jpg (1920x1080, 310K)

Doesn't have a headphone jack or MicroSD slot.

yeah and the FLIR is ballin gotta figure how to calibrate it tho

youtube.com/watch?v=v6jE2eClZNM

nice iphone and nice san francisco appartment

Does this stupid thing work with 3.5mm to micro usb adapters? Can't find any fucking info on it...

Attached: Samsnug-Galaxy-Folder-2.jpg (1024x991, 90K)

wtf is that

Attached: 6xxjy82s2jp11.png (400x800, 28K)

did you read the filename?
a galaxy folder 2

i unironically cant find shit on this so if anyone that owns it could confirm that would be great

doesnt support aptx so bluetooth audio isnt a very good idea

Jesus christ if you want stupid gimmick hardware buy a blackberry

yeah its not like the blackberry style (only blackberry flipphone) runs android

never realized that non-korean would ever buy those kind. kek.

Can anyone recommend me exynos s8+ roms, I've been having a hard time finding a good one

Is it worth buying a Xiaomeme even with the ads that come with MIUI 10 or is there any way to get those out?

You can disable them, or even better flash xiaomi.eu rom

why don't more companies inclued a FLIR sensor? A lot more useful than that second cam for shitty bookeh effects

Does anybody have the Mi A2 already? How is it?

Also, why didn't Xiaomi add a headphone jack, increase the battery so much that the camera doesn't stick out, and make it waterproof? Would be the perfect phone then...

How many days does it take tmobile to process an order? Not including the weekend, it's been a couple days since I've ordered my new phone and they still haven't given me a tracking I'd or any clues to how close it is to being shipped.

Will the Samsung Galaxy A7 be good?
How long untill it's price drops below 300€?

Attached: Galaxy A7.png (621x414, 199K)

You can completely disable them.
beebom.com/how-disable-ads-miui-apps/
Biggest issue with Xiaomi rightnow if you want custom rom is the 720 hours unlock time if you're not buying Pocophone F1

Anybody tried the unofficial Lineage OS for the pocomeme?

no, i'll just run it full stock until it gets official support

>You can disable them, or even better flash xiaomi.eu rom
Or even better - an AOSP based ROM.
>Would be the perfect phone then...
Redmi Note 5 is superior in every way. Don't even bother with the Mi 2/Lite.

Isn't the mi2 lite the same as a redmi note 5?

Both got great battery life and mi2 lite is stock.

It has a Snapdragon 625 instead of 636 and a notch. Not really worth it when the Redmi Note 5 has good custom ROM support and probably a lower price at this point.

>Will the Samsung Galaxy A7 be good?
Don't bother with it
>
>Isn't the mi2 lite the same as a redmi note 5?
If battery life is your only concern, yes. In terms of screen, camera and especially the CPU Redmi is ahead.

>Redmi Note 5 is superior in every way. Don't even bother with the Mi 2/Lite.

>Both have 4GB ram and same CPU
>Both have same battery capacity
>Both have 12 MP back, 5 MP front cameras

Yes, superior in every way.

That's what I'm doing too.

Why aren't the new wallpapers available for the x?

Consider using the OS it comes with. Touch wizz is pretty good.

the only thing that really bothers me is the lack of adaway, MIUI 9.6.whatever isn't too bad. But i can't be bothered to put in some work now when it's all going to get wiped in a month or so anyways

there aren't any made for the Exynos version
>Touch wizz is pretty good
Samshill spotted
Touchjizz was shit, is shit, amd will always be shit, the only reason you would say something so stupid is because you're a paid advocate and you're lying to the user by ommission

Blackberry has been making android phones since 2015 my dude

Its because an flir sensor actually costs money and putting in a second monochrome 1.3 megapixel camera to simulate bokeh costs basically nothing

can someone link the website with the smartphone charts. is the honor 10 any good or is xiaomi a better choice

>lower price point

Where are you looking, cause everywhere I'm looking at the mi a2 lite is cheaper.

If you like EMUI and don't mind that it's the only ROM you'll be stuck with than the Honor 10 is a solid device
If otherwise, go for Xiaomi

Yes, but the key* phones are neither 1. Small 2. A flip phone

(Just getting a normal flip phone won't work as in reliant on some Apps, and having 2 phones is stupid)

do you think i should upgrade now or wait for newer models? i have a honor 6x right now

but the CAT S60 is like 400 bucks or so, it surely can't be that expensive. Also most phones come with a normal 5MP or so sensor as second cam

holy shit EMUI is cancer lads

I look for a cheap android for a girl under 200 euros that is not complete garbage. Any suggestions?
Oreo if possible.

Want to get a Mi Max 3 but don't want no shitty MIUI. What do lads

Attached: 1531976003_635_mi_max_3_db.jpg (635x476, 32K)

depends on what your budget is and what you were planning on upgrading to

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite through HK Goldway
get it and as soon as you receive it, apply for the bootloader unlock code

it has an unlockable bootloader, will surely get custom ROM support. If MIUI is your only problem just install novalauncher

more like $500, and it isn't expensive because of the specs besides the FLIR sensor

Exynos s9+ cell reception is shit, basically when it's supposed to change the antenna or whatever, it doesn't (properly at least) and I end up with a minute lobg cutoff with no internet, If I turn on airplane mode and off again, it suddenly gets full bars

>Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite through HK Goldway
178 grams lmao, what a brick

you said and I quote
>I look for a cheap android for a girl under 200 euros that is not complete garbage.

Are the 80€ more worth it for the regular A2 over the Mi A2 Lite?

Can I ask for app reccomendations here?

No

>Nokia 7 Plus notices me there's a system update available
>neat
>restart phone because reasons
>check for updates
>your phone is up to date (still being 8.1)
hwat

Attached: betterallthetime.jpg (836x543, 111K)

>Android still has microstuttering in 2018 in flagship devices
Convince me not to get an iPhone after using Android since HTC desire was released

Apple is expensive as fuck
otherwise I think iPhones are indeed better

Sorry. Finnish Aalto university app for mapping internet speeds per providers world wide.

Looking for a phone that might be more powerful than my iPad mini 3/ iPhone 6 Plus.

Right now I’m looking at the redmi note 5, not sure about that 636 (seems ok but I want to be able to play games / watch h.265 videos since I might be flying places soon).

I’m also looking at the moto Z270 force since it’s on sale, but it looks like it has shit lineage compadability, a little too much, and it doesn’t have 3.5mm.

The last option is a refurb lg v30/35, but yet again the cost... is there just no phone with a snapdragon 820 or above for under 200?

I’m also in the US on at&t so the pocophone is out of the question..

>is there just no phone with a snapdragon 820 or above for under 200?
No. Search for a used Mi 5/6 or a S7.

If you ignore the Snapdragon 636 and better cameras, then sure.

Yes, worth it for the SoC alone.

Good thing many Xiaomi devices have plenty AOSP based ROMs available.
That's what happens when you have a phone with a locked bootloader. You will receive as many updates as the OEM decides.

ok thanks
are there other smartphones in the same price range that are worth considering too?

I don't care about rooting it, it's just that I find it strange that the update was here and now it's gone

>Don't bother with it
why?

If I can get a pixel 2 xl and a oneplus 6 for the same price, which is the better choice?

Nokia 6.1 if it's in your markets.

Then you were actually referring to the Redmi note 5 pro

do note that youre losing a headphone jack

And 1000mAh battery capacity

>do note that youre losing a headphone jack
that's what I'm thinking about as well
I'm only really using my phone for music, whatsapp, and a bit of browsing, nothing heavy
will the weaker soc really be that noticeable?

>nothing heavy
no
t. rn4x user (same chipset)

yes

so which is it now...?

what model did you experience that on?
>is there just no phone with a snapdragon 820 or above for under 200?
LeEco Le Pro 3
Used/New Other ZTE Axon 7 (over $200 but well worth it)
LG G6
LG V20

Yeah, with the occasional lag when you update apps. other than that should be fine.

google has USB PD oneplus 6 has dashcharge shit
top quality camera vs great camera (check dxomark)
835 SD vs 845 SD
no headphone jack vs headphone jack
you should also check the reviews for the pixel 2 xl, heard some QA issues, don't know if that's been fixed. new line of pixels get released in 8 days, I would wait for that.

>Phone worth more than rent
Lmao typical

My OnePlus One is dying and I'd like to pick a new phone from a different company. Interested in either Nokia, Sony or Samsung. The requirements are simple: screen 5-inch+, not iphone looking design and with audio jack. Price doesn't matter.

Please give me a list of models that worth looking for.

Note 9>S9>Nokia 8>>>>Sony anything.

I own a Nokia 7 Plus and I like it very much

LG V30/30S/35 ThinQ

WHERE IS MY ANDROID 9 reeeeeeeeeee

Attached: jiro.png (714x750, 812K)

shouldn't have rebooted your 7+

Every Android I've ever owned. "Project butter" in 4.1 jelly bean made it better but it's still prevalent.

stop wasting your money on overpriced flagships then

So, currently I'm in Europe, what's the best carrier? The best prepaid data, I'm going to be here for a month or so.

now that I think of it I received September's security patch this morning, installed it, and the system update notification showed up after the patch reboot. maybe it had to do with that

Europe is not a country m8

Get a Redmi Note 5 instead

Redmi Note 5 Pro is just the Indian name for Redmi Note 5:
mi.com/en/redmi-note-5/specs/
mi.com/in/redmi-note-5-pro/#specs

at work I get a free phone upgrade. I can essentially choose any phone.

>in usa
>must work with verizon
>no price limit

Give me some recommendations Jow Forumsents

Attached: 1535206472364.jpg (640x467, 233K)

Wait for Pixel 3 XL

iPhone XS Max 512GB

note 9, best everything except ROM support which you shouldn't even be touching for a work phone

Any reason why my phone slows to a fucking crawl when I plug it in? It's not updating anything or whatever, it just gets fucking slow as shit for like 10 minutes.

Moto Z Play 8.0

I can wait if need be
>x2
I'll look at it but im a headphonelet
Current phone is note 8 so I'm thinking about 9 but If possible wanted a non-curved screen on my next phone
