There should be an upgrade to this phone, but sadly no phone is better. We need a device with identical hardware but with more recent CPU (possibly 835), 4GB+ RAM and 32GB+ storage. And speaker in a non shit position.
The only device that's better is LG G5, but it sadly isn't AMOLED.

I'm literally still running a note 4 I bought on release day.
There has been no phone since that has everything I want.
Frankly it still runs fine for me.

I've used my s5 mini in the shower since release day and as an underwater camera in pools on holiday, If it's not waterproof, It's close enough

Burn in occurs of you keep the maximum brightness all the time, if you constantly keep it around 50% then the screen will degrade in time much slowly.

I have an iPhone 4 and it works fine, my only problem is that my battery goes down fast. But if I keep it on airplane mode it lasts for days, I don't get many calls, it is just for emergencies. Everything else can be said to me over Discord or something.

I loved my S5 but it started having major charge and software issues after three years of nonstop use.

Plus the storage management became a pain in the ass even with a decent sized sd card

The note 4 was the last smartphone worth using. I cherish it's memory. I've used a burner since the note 4 was retired.

I think the point is to protect the port by not using it for charging but only for file transfers only which should be a lot less frequent. Alternatively you can always replace the usb port which is a major pain in the ass because the glued screen needs to be removed and can easily break during this process.

Still, have mine. Works, but the battery needs to be replaced.

I had an S5, except it wasn't just any S5, it was the shitty Sprint exclusive S5 Sport. It was a tiny bit bigger than the regular S5, which meant I couldn't use an S5's case. Hell, it even got water damaged. I have the phone 67878135 mentioned now (LG G5), and it's alright. Not too bad.

Been using mine since its release, I found it a great phone for its price at the time. And beaides a cracked screen and back, no problems whatsoever.
