Qwerty is still the default layout

>qwerty is still the default layout

This is truly the worst timeline

>layout literally made at random with the exception of the creator making his name the first five keys
>no thought put into ergonomic since keyboards were a new concept
>made the standard cause nobody knew any better
>still the standard because of babby duck syndrome

Yeah, nothing wrong here

Could be worse. Imagine if dem Chinese had invented keyboards.

Anyhow, rearrange your keys as you please to, IDK, COLEMAK.

The problem is that the standard is qwerty and we continue to double down on stupidity by keeping it the standard. Like how America hasn't adopted the metric system or how your mom still hasn't aborted her retard son

Doesn't have nearly as large an impact like the metric system or the non-unified household power plugs in the EU.

But feel free to find another standard that is shit for every language, maybe it gets adopted.

How do you say kys in azerty?

English is the only language that matters, fucko

Where did you learn to spell Hebrew like this?

And yet, keyboard layouts that have been designed to be more efficient and ergonomic have been shown time and time again to end up providing little to no measurable advantage over QWERTY.

Keyboard layout is probably just about one of the least important things with regards to ergonomics on a keyboard--arm, hand and wrist position/support are far more important.

QWERTY is dumb, whatever, but I really don't think it's worth the effort to basically completely relearn how to type. If it's ergonomics you want you're better off getting things specialized for that (like wrist rests, ergonomic keyboards, etc.)

Just my two cents.

The deeper this goes the more guilty I'll feel for not expanding the OP image

Qwerty defense force is working overtime tonight

Made the mistake of converting to Dvorak. It makes using anyone else's keyboard tough.

>type 150 WPM on QWERTY so it's literally not even worth switching

>your fingers going all over the place
>nothing wrong

I taught myself to type with one hand for qwerty layouts. It keeps the muscle memory separate from how I type with two hands

*leet

I changed my layout

Is that an script created by a child?

Also where'd you get the blank keyboard stickers?

I'm a child in the sense that I am offspring. Also I cut the stickers myself.

>we're still using keyboard in 2018
>average people can only communicate 1 byte per second
>above averages only get to maybe 2 bytes per second

>neuralink/neuralace will increase that speed to hundreds of bytes per second

You sound like a lovable annoying autist

>Not using glorious etaoin shrdlu typewriters to shitpost.

How much more time do you need?

You could technically design a keyboard layout around statistically common letters to reduce strain but ultimately we're talking about negligible differences in arthritis rates for people who type all the damn day.

Please don't probe my anus

嘿嘿嘿嘿

no

I type in four languages daily. Memes like Dvorak, Colemak, etc. are all garbage for anything that isn't English.

:^)

My condolences.
