Layering directories on top of each other! Imagine mounting a image from the net and that's all that's needed to install. Unmount said image to remove. Upstream authorities just maintain the namespace for a package.

You can mount a union mount of IPFS and something else to get an app installed without fully downloading them, any piece that wasn't downloaded yet will be downloaded on the fly and downloaded parts will simply load.

It's a scripting language/UI toolkit hybrid. A bit ugly, but cross-platform and extremely lightweight. The language itself is like a lovechild of LISP and bash and IMO better than bash.
