Stop using registry cleaner

Not true. You just fucked something up by using snake oil "cleaner" programs.

Except I didn't use any. Well I got an update 1809 maybe thatll fix it.

Who cares everyone with at least half a braincell switched to mac or linux already.

>mpv
>reg cleaner
Jesus fucking christ just how fucking stupid can one person be

What's wrong with MPV? It works great on both my desktop and trash laptop

Stop using registry cleaner

pls sir to do the needful and remove cleaner

I didn't use registry cleaner.
Its literally a clean install

What do you mean change file associations?

Go to view and advanced and show know file types

What is the issue?

>Windows 10 doesn't let you change file associations anymore.
What an outright lie.

Sounds like a "You" problem. My Windows 10 works just fine.

Maybe next time don't use some malware?

Windows 10 is a mess. Windows 10 is a big, fat, mistake.

>use shitty third party tools
>they break the OS
>blame the OS

Yeah nah, you're retarded.

this is more than two years old bug and it is caused by Pajeets who now run the company

switch to 8.1 and classic shell

Just because OP is a n00b, doesn't mean my statement is false.

Uninstall registry cleaner OP

you now need to change them here to make them permanent.

look for "default apps" in settings, and go through "Choose default applications by file type" or "Choose default applications by protocol"
works well enough, considering how shit Windon't is

>zoomers are literally too stupid to use windows

can't make this up

>always use this app to open .mkv files

This is the strangest form of shitposting I've seen.

Been using this since 7 and it's never let me down.

No you don't. If you're trying to associate a file type within an application (Such as associating all video files from inside the MPC-HC Options menu) you just need to run the program as Administrator when you do the association.

>everyone with only half a braincell switched to mac or linux already
ftfy, bro

People use widows

Hey fags stop replying. The issue was a bug with windows that got fixed when I got the latest update.
Jesus christ stop your autism I just thought Microsoft were being jews.

stop using windows, both loonix and applel OS are better for all productive purposes.

You supposed to use cmd to open files with MPV anyway.

I registered my MPV manually with registry for mp4,mkv,webm... As long as you didn't use pick a file or open with prior, WIndows just magically will open the videos with mpv after the initial usage.

>the ABSOLUTE STATE of wincuckolds
LOL

Winamp is love

Sounds delusional considering I can run multiple Linux VM's on my WIndows OS, to get things "done".

There's no benefit to Linux at all, if you mean for scripting? Lol Bash is on Windows, but Powershell is superior anyway, there's plenty of modern gnu replacements made cross platform anyway.

Powershell runs on Linux.
Why use a linux vm on windows as opposed to a windows vm on linux?
Linux has much better vms with kvm/qemu (and virt-manager gui). Virtualbox is shit, vmware costs $$, no kvm in windows kernel = its shit. Plus you can gpu passthrough for muh games.
