the issue the black feller had was that it was showing the flashing question folder at boot, and apple had told him that his ssd had failed and at the time would have cost a lot to replace so he was selling it at a loss. Turns out it re-seating it and using some de-oxit on it fixed it.

I ran Arch for several years on another machine. Decided to try Manjaro for shits and giggles on this desktop.
