I am on tech support with a Windows service tech who is remotely controlling my computer, I have been moved up to escalation 3 in the support line lmao
>letting some poojeet trash your data more than it is jesus christ dd that hard drive already, you are so dumb that you probably did this to yourself somehow
Works fine here. Have you tried not being retarded?
Jayden Hughes
> On customer support now, with pajeet mamheeb. Not resolved yet Do you really believe he will do anything except reading you MS KB articles over the phone?
Jack Carter
but muh file explorer dark theme
Christopher Moore
>Windows service tech who is remotely controlling my computer
I would agree with you that I am a retard, however, this has happened on 2 seperate devices (updated at the same time)
Matthew Roberts
>ironically using windows Either you are too retarded for Linux or too poor for MacOS
Isaiah Hughes
It's time to pass to the Linux side
William Cruz
>actual bugs on the screen you idiot, you are nothing but a bug report dump for them, thanks for giving them the update logs so they can mitigate their shit and ignore you. have a great life, or whats lef tof it.
Julian Bell
>has his accounts connected to microjew KEK YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING
>Windows 10 is garbage >Linux is garbage AND knee-deep in SJW bullshit When Win 7 and Win 8.1 become hopelessly outdated, will Mac be the only choice for desktop computing?
Carson Gonzalez
this is gnome.. this is like me opening steam on windows and saying LOOK STEAM DOESNT WORK and then blaming it on windows. fuck you
Isaiah Evans
Ubuntu is Windows tier
Landon Edwards
>Implying MacOS isn't just for the /lgbt/ >>>/MTBF/
same happened to me some time ago. window is just cancer. was even a different update lol.
Samuel Clark
no, it isn't.. that's now how linux works, gnu/linux is programmed to work as a command line interface, there is no default UI in linux, not like mac or windows.
>being proud of letting vulnerabilities unpatched on an outdated version of windows the retard, it hurts.
Dylan Gomez
nice fud
Matthew Gray
No, it is not you fucking ass spelunking idiot
Isaac Young
windows's explorer isn't part of it too you can install a windows server that operates by command line and powershell
Brandon Smith
Open
Ian Long
and thanks to that line of thought loonix is an unusable piece of shit, because all the graphical environments are an afterthought, understaffed projects bolted on top of a text mode OS
Same, there's unofficial ways to get win7 drivers on a 7200u so I'm just gonna switch. windows 10 fucking sucks with HDDs too
Adam Edwards
Free
Camden Bailey
do you think i'm disagreeing with you? you summarized it perfectly. linux is best as a CLI os for devices that have like 1gb of ram. If you hate windows and want a WORKING OPERATING SYSTEM THAT HAS A WORKING GUI, (don't need to go into the terminal just to set up a FUCKING PARTITION), then go to Haiku.
Nolan Allen
No programs that I want.
Gavin Martinez
Haiku is nonviable. The only reason all these drivers for loonix exist is because RedHat, Google and other corps needed them for their servers and mobile devices. Maybe Canonical contributed some money for desktop support too. No such thing for Haiku. You can't run a desktop OS on donations alone.
Jonathan Ramirez
explorer is the file browser, stupid
Benjamin Evans
damn this thread is a classic i can't stop jerkin off
Elijah Moore
Same, I even dual boot Linux on the same SSD and it didn't uninstall GRUB or anything, it didn't even reset my wallpaper or reset any of my preferences. How the fuck he fucked his shit up is beyond me. Nb4 all his files are in this "old windows" folder in the root directory. Nb4 all his missing files are just programs and not actual documents. Nb4 he reset his pc thinking that's how you update it. When did Jow Forums become this autistic
Kayden Thompson
Glad I could help. I should jack off too come to think of it
Logan Jackson
i hope ur meme gets fixed user until then i'mma pop some big ol nuts to this one
Connor Green
The fact that it happened on two separate devices leads to me thinking even more that it's your fault. No one else has had any problems, and so the fact that the only variable staying the same is YOU across two computers indicates YOU fucked up. Otherwise it most likely would've only been on one computer. The actual odds that windows fucked up on not one but two machines at the same time in the same house has got to be similar to the odds of two sperm donor kids marrying each other and having incest babies, which to be fair is actually quite high.
Michael James
If three tiers of Microwave tech support cant find my files I think there is a problem.
I have done nothing but update, thats it.
Nolan Torres
We’ll see in half an hour when Manpreet gets back to me. I’m not ruling it out that it’s my fault. But I have done nothing to the machines other then update.
Logan Ramirez
I have been using QubesOS for nearly 2 years now and it is the most stable OS I have used in my life
Kayden Collins
Pretty sure windows will break if you remove explorer.exe
Yeah, not try it with a high DPI monitor >inb4 you need to fit the hardware to the software needs yeah fuck off
Jordan White
>He doesn't backup his data
Charles Gonzalez
Oh I did. But id rather have my current data back. Thats why I’m not freaking out.
Camden Ortiz
this, if you don't a have a physical hard drive with a copy of your files on it in a fire resistant box in a different room you don't really want those files. it could be in the same room I suppose, but the fire resistant box is non-negotiable.
I have Education edition with GPedited auto updates to off. It doesn't solve the HDD/other issues.
Justin Flores
just upgraded 2 pcs (pro and edu) and everything is alright
Chase Gomez
Strictly speaking, no. You could use the entire OS functions with command lines
Ryder James
Next thing you know that indian syskey you
Jose Rivera
strictly speaking, the command line isn't part of the OS either. heck, not even init. you can use most programs that don't require /proc /sys or /run by passing them as a parameter to the kernel, linux alone satisfies the definition of an OS as an interface between user space and hardware
Owen Murphy
>It’ll get fixed if the update actually deleted your data a pajeet is not going to undelete it
Levi Davis
Strictly speaking, you could run your entire computer by pushing buttons and pulling levers and have the output of your actions printed on a piece of paper
