less bloated? Konsole is fine if you're using KDE don't be dumb. Also press f4 in dolphin to open a Konsole window in that directory in the window.

Well, Konsole is one of the most rendering-advanced terminals. It supports full RGB spectrum and blinking text as one of the few.
In fact, most KDE apps are most advanced in their type. For example Kile, KWrite, Okteta.

I like SimpleTerminal, but I'm switching to URxvt as soon as I can get the command line switches working to remap copypasta.
