>or sennheiser are lying so that people continue buying the 660
lmao this is like those morons who thought the PS1 had an 800 dollar CD player

I want to rub my stinky crusty cum sock all over her face

Open sound, less claustrophobic.

Sennheiser Momentum, sound was nice but they felt uncomfortable when I weared them for more than 1 or 2 hours.

Basically I want something that I can use to play on my computer but also hang out with them outside

user, what's your setup like.
Here, Idol trash.

I just tried out the AKG K702, and I was shocked how cheap and shoddy they felt build quality-wise.

They're pretty affordable nowadays, but back in the day they weren't exactly budget-friendly, and still they feel like something that comes out of a supersized kinder egg.

People shit&meme on beyerdynamic around here, but at least they feel nice and sturdy when you pick them up.

What do u think guys?
sennheiser pxc 550

Basically this right now. HD6XX came in today.

This with modmic?

Attached: DT770Pro.png (1200x900, 394K)

did i get memed you nlggers

They have weak sub bass, you can try a bit of EQ to bring it in line with the rest. I enjoy them with a little boost in the treble too

i have a fx audio x-6 and i wanted to pick up dt 990's in the future. is the x-6 powerfull enough to power the 600ohm version or should i go with the 250?

Attached: images.jpg (195x258, 9K)

You didn't get memed, you are just used to a lot of bass. Buying an amp/dac may help a bit, but it won't be a world of a difference if you are already getting them loud enough.

Get the 600ohm, it's the better version. You'll be fine with that amp. Let us know how you like them when you get them, because I've been interested in 600 ohm DT990s too.

Actually you'll be more than fine, power is not a concern at all with the x-6.

Yeah, they have very nice sound quality for their current price, but the build quality is ridiculously bad for the price, something you’d expect out of 50€ headphones. I can’t believe that people actually used to compare K701 to HD600 on build quality, or maybe K702 has been severely downgraded on build quality through the years.

sweet thanks. just wasn't sure the 90mW was enough. i'll be back in a couple of weeks maybe

Most amps have a lot less than that into 600ohms and drive them just fine.

They're made in China.

Can't tell if I like the oratory1990 HD600 EQ (without bass boost) better or that the 4k and 7k boost make it louder is why.

Swapped Auteur to my pc setup for a change

That's a good EQ profile. I'm running something similar, but I think a bit more sub.

How do we solve the Anime problem in the headphone community?

Attached: yvazf0ednwsz.png (656x654, 294K)

anime girls with headphones are top notch

Budget - $400
Location - Singapore
Source - Galaxy S7
Type of headphone - IEMs
Comfort level - Needs to be comfortable for long term wearing (6-10 hours a day)
Sound signature - I prefer neutral or warm signatures.
Past headphones - I have HD650s as my usual headphones, I quite like them.

I'm looking at Audio Technica E50/70s or CKR100iS, thoughts? Or are there better pairs? I've tried the iSine LX and quite like it but it leaks music and I would prefer ones that don't.

More anime girls. Surely they'll get tired of them

Attached: Audio G.jpg (1617x723, 698K)

Just tried EQing my HD6XX with HD650 settings. Only real noticeable thing is I lost bass. Other than that, no notable change. I'm definitely not using EQ.

github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/oratory1990/harman_over-ear_2018/Sennheiser HD 650

Hey guys i'm thinking of buying a headphone + mic
I'm interested in the V-MODA BoomPro microphone, which cheap headphones have a cable input to connect this mic to?

>Only real noticeable thing is I lost bass.
it adds bass

What's a decent beginner set of open back headphones just for music listening? my budget is around $250 and a detachable cord is a bonus

It most certainly does not.

HD6XX from Massdrop.

These are bass frequencies, chief

Attached: bass.png (339x224, 7K)

Is there a way on Sennheiser 4.50 to play audio through USB? Will Sennheiser HeadSetup Pro make it do that?

Attached: 71RQMwm3MFL._AC_SL1500_.jpg (940x1299, 99K)

>Peaking 31 Hz 0.92 6.8 dB
you are 100% retard then

Would you look at that, the bass frequencies are boosted

Attached: Sennheiser%20HD%20650[1].png (768x576, 24K)

Then why does it sound like less bass?

And how important is pre-amp setting in EqualizerAPO? The config is using a "Preamp: -6.1dB" what exactly does this do, other than making it much louder?

200% retard

So this is the power of listening to mudheisers, huh

dunno, maybe something is set wrong

try something like this

Turning down your preamp gives you more headroom before it "clips" and distorts. Important for bass boosts, otherwise you get that cartoonish meme bass boost sound.

Attached: bass2.png (648x499, 20K)

Find their IP address and get a doctor to euthanize them.

Differences in the 250 ohm DT 770 and the 80 besides being harder to drive?

Here is the EQ off (leaving pre-amp setting on)

Attached: off.png (1026x800, 64K)

And here it is On. It is removing that bass hump, which is why I think it sounds like it has less bass now.

Attached: on.png (1026x800, 58K)

you have both of them turned off lol

adolf89 is my hero

No,when the square is blue (white icon inside) it means off.

Chinkshit IEM cable is comfy and performs well, looks great, more at 11!

Attached: 4 core SPC MMCX 3point5 mm Grade A Chinkshit.jpg (466x466, 44K)

lmao

Are you a blithering idiot? Have you even used this program before?

you're the one who has both modulators disabled lmfao

I really don't dude. Try it for yourself.

>turn EQ on
>think its off
now I get why you people keep saying the HD600 have bass kek

do you REALLY think the box being greyed out means it's on?

You see how the frequency response changes to flat when it is turned on? It's not hard to figure out.

see
And I ask again, have YOU USED THE PROGRAM?

I legitimately cannot tell if you're trolling, retarded, or both
the absolute state of sennshills

I used the program every day lol. With the Peace GUI

now stop being outsmarted by checkboxes

Attached: peace.png (441x50, 5K)

I think the Philips Fidelio X1S is still being sold in China. Shouldn't be too hard to pick one up.

I'm not using the Peace GUI. You have no experience with the EqualizerAPO standard interface, so that's why you can't tell I guess. I've used it for months.

Attached: on.png (1026x800, 61K)

It's not rocket science. Try for yourself, launch the APO editor and turn up the preamp.

Attached: off.png (1026x800, 68K)

simply epic troll bro

the greyed out interface means its on lolololol

guys wtf when I turn on the EQ I suddenly get no bass???

Attached: Editor_2018-10-05_22-29-29.png (1208x439, 56K)

hello tyrone

help why is my sound distorted and muddy?

Attached: bass2.png (260x475, 11K)

lmfao

I must be the only one who thinks diffuse field sounds plain awful. The DF simulation I listened to was rolled off. 100% DF must be intolerable.

nah pretty sure all the senniggers itt that hate hearing treble agree with you

>only one who thinks diffuse field sounds plain awful.
No, hence the work by Sean Olive and others.
>The DF simulation I listened to was rolled off.
How did you obtain the data?

Ok. Installed PeaceGUI. I don't hear much change, but I do hear a little bass boost when the EQ is turned on. To me, it's not worth using at all.

Attached: Untitled.png (881x797, 55K)

I was testing the ED-1 parameters, but the lambda I used was not the Pro but a newer, more rolled off model.

>Sean Olive and others.

They leave the 3-7 kHz part mostly untouched, which is the boosted area I don't like.

Use a low shelf, not a peak

>tfw definitely need new wireless headphones but don't bother asking /hpg/ for advice because its just variations of REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BUY WIRED

Attached: too lazy to shoop out wires.jpg (474x395, 29K)

What do you mean by low shelf? I check Prevent clipping and it lowers the Pre-amp a bit.

I know most Lambdas would fit that description, but which one?

SR-307.

You are a fucking retard. Just give up.

Quiet Comfort 35.

>use EQ profile made for a different headphone
>sounds bad

rinchoi.blogspot.com/2013/08/stax-sr-207-back-to-basic.html

read it.

change the filter type for your low end

left is a low shelf, right is a peak

Attached: eq.png (991x209, 32K)

>1500$ HD650 clones

Attached: 1421332658231.gif (292x323, 485K)

What program is this???

ableton live, don't worry about it

I'm working on a track and there's a graphical parametric EQ, makes it easier to show you the difference

Wow $749 dollars for an equalizer? You got ripped off.

>207=307

Attached: brainlet.jpg (642x725, 42K)

Attached: 3int.png (303x311, 195K)

But why? What have I done wrong this time?

So change all of the filters to that?

Bumping this

Let's start with your mother not getting an abortion.

only the bass frequencies, try 70 Hz 7.5 dB gain low shelf and 22 Hz 3dB 1.6Q Peak

>the boosted area I don't like
DF headphones shouldn't boost that zone, they boost lower in the midrange. A flat input is amplified by the ear to be boosted in the treble there when measured at the drum.

Try reducing the 5 kHz point a bit.

literally how stupid
