there doesn't have to be a single solution. a simple text-based captcha prevents most spam and wont hold up regular posters. blacklisted ips can be forced to go through recaptcha.

And they can be autosolved. Bui has done this before because Bui is an autist. Bui has even wiped entire Jow Forums boards with recaptcha enabled. Any autist can bypass shitty captcha implementation if they have enough money or time.
Remember. This is Jow Forums. People will continue to find ways to erase the boards through spamming. This is an issue that effects pretty much every imageboard. 8ch, lainchan, endchan, etc.
