why does PC not share memory?

They feed on attention, even if it's negative.

CPUs are smaller so it would be difficult to integrate something 100 times larger

It can? A chinese company made one that shares GDDR5 with a custom AMD unit.

It's called an APU and it's a major part of AMDs business.

ITT: OP is a literal retard.

IGP are a thing. AMD call them an APU, Intlel call them just CPU.
Probably to maintain upgradeability.
Intlel and AyyMD had a joint venture for the i7 8809G, but that, if I recall correctly, is only for the Intlel Hades Canyon NUC.
Intel would have to pair up with Nvidia, which they don't particularly like, or RTG, which they don't particularly like, if they were to do it at the moment, or hope that Raja can do something decent now that they bought him out.
Could be neat I think, but it'd make board partners somewhat obsolete, unless they just integrated it all in one package for a new motherboard standard.
I'm gay

Why do we not integrate an oven into the refrigerator?
