I bet you won't even know what it is or what makes it special.

...and something actually more useful than irix?

There are no good file managers besides Finder.

Was Dolphin, now Konqueror just because
of integrated lan functionality.

I have no problem with Finder

Jurrastic Park was a shit movie

Finder only has one good feature which is it's rename function.

Finder is the best overall.

Don't even try replying when explorer.exe doesn't have spring loaded folders or user scriptable extensions.

The best feature of Finder (and of OSX) is that ***EVERYTHING*** is easily scriptable with Automator.

Is it shell?

It also has the only decent Miller columns implementation

What's explorer? I do all my stuff in the terminal

oh my god guys this cannot be real, this is this is so unepic
i'm literally shaking guys, apple cant be cnt be gay

iToddlers are all abour promoting homosexuality after all. Even if they are straight, they still wear rainbow wristbands and filter their facebook avatars with rainbow flags. For them pride == homosexuality.

Thunar

dired

Tracker is pretty good.
Type-ahead filtering of both names and extended attributes is neat, live filesystem queries are very convenient, and being able to easily make your own custom actions is very convenient.
And, of course, it's scriptable with hey.

I enjoy Explorer.
I actively dislike Finder.
I don't use anything other than the shell for Linux.

ranger, that's all you'll ever need

>unable to open with... let alone editing anything in the upload dialog
>retarded tab management
>no modern file support in thumbnails

Finder is gay trash

I love macOS, own a x220 hackintosh since June, but I still can't stand Finder. I get a headache trying to do the simplest things with it, not sure if it takes time to get used to or if I'm retarded

Terminal

totalcmd

What's the problem? I find it much better than explorer

Krusader

looks more like Hawkman kissing Hawkman in front of the Flash to me

>no modern file support in thumbnails
Like what? It's extensible after all

only sane anons here

find | grep

It's a face looking at a monitor, retard.

I wouldn't expect winfags or neet linuxbois to comprehend good visual design.

Please prove me wrong by posting your riced out linux install.

If it was good visual design then people besides macfags would understand it.

Tracker is better.

Grunk smart, heh heh

Dolphin

interesting
miller columns. I'm taking notes here.
you're sure it's the only decent implementation?

I'm smart enough to buy a machine that has good thermal design

I mean I can't be positive there isn't one out there but I've been searching here and there for one for years.

the Files in elementaryOS seems to be a good implementation.

Nice explaining the joke at the end would have never gotten it otherwise.

>hackintosh
Yeah that's gonna be a yikes from me

Windows explorer.
Not even joking, it's one of the only things I miss since moving to Linux. Dolphin is ok on the Linux side but a pain to use outside of KDE.

>>unable to open with...
???

You're not wrong, you're gay.

>Implying blue isn't a cute trap

dired. with wdired, it doubles as the best batch renamer there is too.

but does Finder have emoji?

this

How do you toggle hidden file visibility in Finder? Inb4 terminal commands.

cmd+shitf+.

For quick rename jobs with visual feedback I use thunar -B. Otherwise dired is a frigging monster of a file manager, portable too to boost!
