What tech could I use to get rid of dust in the air?

What tech could I use to get rid of dust in the air?

I'm tired of having to dust all my hardware and shit every week.

most dust is dead skin cells so just wear a radiation suit 24/7 and you'll be fine

HEPA filter attached to a fan.

This is what I do.

They're surprisingly comfy. Especially during winter months.

ghetto as fuck

Buy some air ionizer

raspberry pie

If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid.

That's functionally all the air purifiers that you buy at the store are. The only difference is that they might have some sort of pre-filter, might have some meme ion plates, may have ozone generation that will slowly kill you, and look nicer. You can add all of those to the box fan design.

>HEPA filter attached to a fan.
this actually work?

Yes, it does work.

Tell me more

This is white trash tier but actually legitimately useful

My PC is my air purifier.

This is the way.
An electrostatic precipitator will do it better.
But that's industrial.

you could get a low-power compressor to suck air out of the room and pump it into the bottom of a clear plastic pipe set vertically, full of water. air bubbles through, dust on the surface of the bubbles is trapped in the water.

change the water when you can't see through it any more.

This. Works better than air purifiers

Yes. There's a YouTube with a guy who has a $6000 particle meter and it works better than most air purifiers. All that matters is the filter. Not the container housing the filter

>hepa attatched to fan
don't do this.

that is a fire hazard. the motor will burn out because of lack of airflow.

Warms your room, purifies it, and kills demons.
Is there anything the design can't do?

Tell your Mom to change the air filter.

It took like two years of 24/7 running for my box fan to burn out when using it like that, and at that point it just stopped running.

Thoughts on this? Doesn't cost much, is apparently silent and low power enough to run 24/7 and fairly compact.

The people in this thread aren't joking user. If you buy a proprietary filter you're getting meme'd on. They're expensive, don't filter as well, and after a few years will probably be deprecated and you'll have trouble finding replacement filters. Meanwhile you can box filter with three furnace filters simultaneously and clear waaaay more air.

Asians have great legs, hip and waist structure, and so forth, but they just aren't arousing or emotionally attractive. It could be that many of the images posted are heavily photoshopped.

or you could be an incorrigible fudgepacker

Japan has an obesity rate of 3.2%. The US has an obesity rate of 39.8%. More Japanese women are attractive just by them not looking like horrendously fat ogres.

excellent idea, thanks user

who's the whore?

god damn i want to rape her

some people have higher critera for attractiveness than not being fat
asian women have the personality of a plank

t. fatty

how often do i need to replace my filters if i do this? every 3 months?

Ok but where do I put it in my room for optimal filtering

I've been doing this for like 5 years

How noisy is this setup?

>no local retailers sell box fans in australia
>17usd on amazon + $50 in shipping fees

epic

holy shit. amazing

If you actually get into Japanese women like me you'll feel just about nothing/disgust from all other women.

I swear I have very very occasionally seen them at places like Big W. Definitely not as popular as your standard pedestal fan AKA Australian xmas tree.

Said the jew wanting us to buy specialised equipment.

>have a homedics air purifier
>if you take it apart it is pretty much just built like that pic but with some fancy framing around it.
If I didn't get it for free that would definitely be a viable alternative.
