Will hashcat still work with the HD7870? Some guy in my town is selling some for around $40 each

Why does kmail periodically just plain fail to retrieve email? And why is the solution to just change from domain name to the IP of the server, then back again when that fails, always having to set up folders with the right images every single time for some reason?
Is there a permanent solution to this nonsensical problem?

My brother found an iphone 6 during a trip to europe (some eurocuck left it on a taxi and when he found it just keep it) and after he got back he wanted to use it. The problem is that the phone is pending to an activation, so it can't be used unless the original user enters the ID and pass.
I was thinking about deleting everything and installing android on it, but while I was searching about how to jailbreak it I realized the phone had the iOS 12, so doing it is out of the question.
Is there any other way to just install android despite this?

Can I make a dungeon crawler in python, and then display it on a webpage?
If so, would the webpage need Python hosting? What do I need to know to make this happen?
is there a way to pirate photoshop without getting hacked by chinks, slavs, spics and without downloading adobe cloud bullshit?

I managed to get pulseaudio to boot normally on start. I removed a pulseaudio file I had in /.config/autostart Audio isn't loud either, hopefully everything remains like this
Can anyone explain the difference between the two speeds: >buffer to host >host-to/from-drive
Does it mean buffer to host is the speed of data retrieval assuming the data is cached in buffer and host-to/from-drive is write/read speed if data is not present in the buffer?
How can I know how many HDD/SSD I can have in my PC?

I'm three years deep into a four year software engineering degree, and in order to graduate with honours I need to finish the final year's worth of material within two years at maximum, including 800 hours of work experience. I had the idea that I could spend the next two years in part-time study and part-time work, but there doesn't seem to be any part time work in the industry around.
Is this normal? The part time work that does exist seems to be quite simple things like website adminning for small organizations and companies; would this count as worthwhile industry experience considering it isn't anything agile and doesn't seem particularly technically challenging?
Brayden Martin
Yes.
Benjamin Nguyen
You forgot the IDE ports
Angel Baker
Why not just code it in JavaScript?
Andrew Wilson
>Is this normal? Yes. Real jobs are full time, salary. Finish your year of school in one year, then get a job. You only have to work half a year, so if it takes a while, or you need to relocate, it won't affect you much. Intern somewhere if you can, during the first year while you're finishing school.

Lss I ripped a bunch of vhs, dvd, and 8mm to drives for a retiree moving to the phillipines. Some was porn. Porn is illegal in the phillipines. I need to ship the last couple drives to him. The plan now is to ship one drive out of packaging, but to load the Porn on the other drive and repackage it in its original box and reseal it. Basically smuggling.
1. What are the chances they'll read the drives/open "new" drive (I'm assuming slim to none) 2. What kind of trouble could I get in for this (I'm in US)
Bentley Barnes

1. Slim to none. 2. Max? 6-10, possibly lifetime sexual offender.
You could encrypt it, for extra paranoia.

Prof condenser mics suck for gaming in my experience (picks up every fucking thing, and still makes you sound distant - lest you gotta sound studio set up). Better to have a headset mic.
Also, check with

>finally realize i am a waste of space in this world best way to kill myself?
Lucas Russell
>Basically smuggling. Reusing packaging isn't smuggling. They don't give a shit, just put on there that it's a gift. Keep a copy of it all on another drive too. PI is notorious for stealing shit, either at the airport or the seaport.
>2. Max? 6-10, possibly lifetime sexual offender. LMAO! You think the US would extradite some dude to PI over porn? No one cares about this shit.
Ty I actually wanted to buy a headset, but they're too expensive
Ryder Smith
>LMAO! You think the US would extradite some dude to PI over porn? No, they'd arrest you here, for violating US export laws and smuggling. That's how the trade treaty goes.
If you got arrested for it there, the max sentence would be considerably worse (possibly death, if you ticked off the wrong people - flipland is corrupt as fuck). Though, on the plus side, I don't think they even have a national sex offender database.
Liam Allen

Thought about that, had to write detailed instructions to use Skype though, so encryption is probably a no-go. Guy just got his first flip phone 2 months ago, one of those people. It's mostly stud like Crazy Asian Anal and Big Booty Hoes, not too worried about keeping a backup, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna get fucked somehow, they executed hundreds of drug dealers last year and seem to be cracking down on stuff, didn't know. Well shit. Can I just put a fake return address on it? Do they really need to know who I am?
Thanks guys
Brody Jones
>Do they really need to know who I am? Yes, in case if they ask for sauce
Brayden Lopez
>Well shit. Can I just put a fake return address on it? Do they really need to know who I am? And if the guy rats you out?
Might be easier just to dump all the porn into a huge encrypted rar/7z, and upload it for him.
Robert Cook
what do people in OS war threads mean by "actual work"?
I meant a copy, to resend, if they steal the first one.
You can put a fake return address, they don't care. Just pay with cash.
Hudson Evans
>And if the guy rats you out? You guys are fucking autistic. Why would the guy that he's doing a favor for, turn himself in, and then rat on the guy helping him? Holy shit, the PI are more likely to steal his shit than anything. They aren't going to open it up, they literally don't give a shit.
John Smith
I see.
Is there a way to bypass the activation lock that doesn't imply to pay some shaddy service or the DNS trick?
Jayden Adams
Neighbors don't like him, sick the cops on him, find pr0n, need a ring for their quota, start beating him, he rats you out to get them to stop (plus reduced sentence).
Happens all the time in the US, but in flipland, they have corporal punishment and can beat you all the livelong day.
Which is oddly more likely than them opening the package and scanning the hard drive.
Caleb Thomas
I'm trying to transfer some files over MTP and sure enough, the internal memory is displayed. However it's showing most files as empty folders. The few files it shows as actual files are either video or music files.
Any ideas? Could encryption have something to do with it?

How do you choose a monitor? How do I know which technology used is better for me: IPS vs TN vs VA. Is response time and contrast ratio just marketing gimmick or are they meaningful?
I basically just check for screen resoltuion, available ports and refreshing rate. Everything else is big unknown.
Jackson Ross
If dubs i switch to linux tomrrow
Lincoln Ross
Go to a store and check out some monitors, compare and contrast, no pun intended.
Personally, I can't stand TN's, and gotta go with IPS, but some folks are color blind and have no issues with a TN.
Jonathan Campbell
>Is response time and contrast ratio just marketing gimmick or are they meaningful? Pretty much. IPS is best. The only monitors with bad response times are the older/cheaper ones, and TVs.
Good job, still a faggot.
Cooper Richardson
Can someone tell me which JDK to use for college? Class does not specify but I read that JDK 11 removes "obfuscated" features (which may be required) should I start with 8?
Dominic Campbell
I'm ashamed that I did not think of this. I'll check the local stores. Hopefully, the IPS/TN technologies do not vary between vendors.
Why? I bought Winblows Pro for $3 on eBay, just activated it. Might as well be free like Linux, and definitely a better environment for immediate production. I understand this is a Linux only place, I just never understood (other than the open source thing, but I mean, who seriously uses GIMP nowadays)
Lucas Edwards
I heard recently that ever since two years ago some usb c cables can fry your pc.
Apparently its due to usb a to usb c cables having shit wiring such that when charging a phone it can draw to much power and fry the pc or usb port.
Is this issue rectified now a days or is it still present even now? Im guessing my wires fine since i recall using it for a few hours every once in awhile to let my pc use its mobile data. Interestingly enough it charged slow as fuck regardless of data usage such as when im just transferring over files.
Can this also work in reverse? My pc has a thunderbolt port and i was considering getting a usb c to c cable for the faster file transfers, but this makes me wonder if my pc in turn could fry the fuck out of my phone.
If specific phone model matters its a galaxy s9 i got like 4 or 5 months ago
Noah Brooks
I'm saving an audio file with Audacity and the available output format is either signed 16-bit pcm or 32-bit float pcm. What's the difference between the two?
Play games most of the time? Response time is not as much of a marketing gimmick. Go with something with higher refresh rate.
Do literally everything else, and play games on the side though? Look for IPS and decent angles. Cheap, crappy IPS monitors will still suffer from severe backlight bleeding and such so be careful.
So if it's games then TN (due to refresh rate), otherwise IPS for colour.
Lucas Kelly
Unless you can play extra and enjoy both, yes.
Connor Richardson

Money is no issue. But I don't think they make 144Hz IPS FHD monitors.
Jayden Anderson
>Do they even make 120/144Hz IPS displays? Yes. I'm actually thinking about buying a laptop with a 144Hz IPS display. Just waiting out for the 2080 to be available in them.
Thomas Bell
Can someone give me some decent recommendations for a laptop?
I want something capable enough for video editing and creative use with the full adobe suite, it'll be for a filmmaking course at university and I intend to use it for this pretty heavily, decent storage and size would be a plus too but I'm mostly concerned with the ability to handle fairly intensive video editing for a few years.
I was considering the Xiaomi Notebook Pro but I'm unsure if it's a great choice.
I'd recommend the IPS, the colors are just so much better.
Caleb Walker
That's what I worried in the beginning. It's either refresh time or colour.
Lucas Butler
Refresh isn't a big deal at all if you're using one of the Sync technologies. You won't notice it changing.
Levi Thomas
what's the difference between boolean logic and diital logic? When I did a search to compare the two they'd often be separated or digital logic would be paired with boolean algebra

So... I really do think I am crazy, because now when I watch other peoples videos, their PC gameplay down with a mouse has the same jumpiness and square movements that my mouse does... Is that just how PC gaming is with a mouse? because when I use a controller, I never get this...
Ahem, but OP pic should be of smug expression, not some pre-aheago face. It should be so smug and snarky and arrogant that it makes anons feel bad for asking stupid fucking questions. My question is, how to check what files my win10 might have wiped (if that’s even possible)? Things seem to be fine, but can’t be too sure.

Noah Morgan
For the most part. Ips is really for movie or grapbic design fags and not for vidya. Ill bitch about ips for gaymen once its reached being able to reproduce graphics that mimic real life.
Ayden Rivera
Right, so I'll be fine with TN then.
Sebastian Lewis
Go to a microcenter or something and see the difference in TN and IPS. TN looks like shit.
John Reed
Choosing a monitor turns out to be quite a nightmare.
Isaac Miller
Depends on the mouse and surface you use. Higher end mice usually have better hardware and software to combat those downfalls, though bear in mind high just means 50+, you dont have to buy those 100+ mouses for good mileage.
Surface matters to. Cloth gives more traction and plastic gives smooth movement obviously. Personally ive used a hard plastic mouse pad for awhile for so long that cloth feels to unnatutal now, buts probably better if you want to reduce jumpiness of a mouse when moving even slightly
Logan Walker
I use a default mouse pad with wrist support, but it seems any surface I use, I still get jumpiness, and I have a Logitech G303 which are a bit more pricey from the looks of it...
Brandon Evans
For vidya, control should be a priority over looks. Fuck you graphics whores and your le better colors meme. No reason to spend so much for a high end ips when a decent tn does the job at a reasonable price
Joshua Scott

is there a way to view all KDE Plasma Themes like in a gallery? they dont have a "next" button.
youtube.com/watch?v=vYLEuQrvND0 Watch the gameplay segments in this, and tell me you don't see the jankiness when he looks around.
Seriously, my mouse has this much worse whenever I try to play any games that require a mouse. When I play MGS GZ or Dead Rising 2, it is the most noticeable here as it jumps a little when I look around...
I just want to play my games my dude. And the thing is, is it doesn't happen when I use a controller.
Might be a hardware issue in that case. Not inherent in the mouse but a faulty unit. Hit up customer support and ask them
Gavin Sullivan
Imagine nearly a decade ago, where finding a 120hz monitor set at 120hz and not just using the fucking nvidia 3D meme on a physical store was difficult enough that you almost had to have faith on that technology not being placebo shit. I remember ordering a fucking 1680x1050 TN 120hz monitor for $350 and not knowing what I was getting.
It ain't the mouse I am using chief, this has been a problem I have had with EVERY mouse I own, shitty dollar mice and high ender mice...
And I have used Google... This has been plaguing me for literal months...

What dpi are you running at? I dont have this problem with the logitech and razer mice that i have
Brandon Turner
nigga i have to click each one individually.
Isaiah Powell
I am running the mouse with 5 DPI sensitivity levels. They are currently, running down it: >1000 >1050 >1500 >3000 >7000 With a report rate of polling per second being at 1000.
Angle snapping for the mouse is off, and my screen is 1080p with a 60hz refresh rate.
