My brother found an iphone 6 during a trip to europe (some eurocuck left it on a taxi and when he found it just keep it) and after he got back he wanted to use it. The problem is that the phone is pending to an activation, so it can't be used unless the original user enters the ID and pass.
I was thinking about deleting everything and installing android on it, but while I was searching about how to jailbreak it I realized the phone had the iOS 12, so doing it is out of the question.

I'm three years deep into a four year software engineering degree, and in order to graduate with honours I need to finish the final year's worth of material within two years at maximum, including 800 hours of work experience. I had the idea that I could spend the next two years in part-time study and part-time work, but there doesn't seem to be any part time work in the industry around.
Is this normal? The part time work that does exist seems to be quite simple things like website adminning for small organizations and companies; would this count as worthwhile industry experience considering it isn't anything agile and doesn't seem particularly technically challenging?

Lss I ripped a bunch of vhs, dvd, and 8mm to drives for a retiree moving to the phillipines. Some was porn. Porn is illegal in the phillipines. I need to ship the last couple drives to him. I'm trying to transfer some files over MTP and sure enough, the internal memory is displayed. However it's showing most files as empty folders. The few files it shows as actual files are either video or music files.
Any ideas? Could encryption have something to do with it?

How do you choose a monitor? How do I know which technology used is better for me: IPS vs TN vs VA. Is response time and contrast ratio just marketing gimmick or are they meaningful?
I basically just check for screen resoltuion, available ports and refreshing rate. Everything else is big unknown.

Personally, I can't stand TN's, and gotta go with IPS, but some folks are color blind and have no issues with a TN.

I heard recently that ever since two years ago some usb c cables can fry your pc.
Apparently its due to usb a to usb c cables having shit wiring such that when charging a phone it can draw to much power and fry the pc or usb port.
Is this issue rectified now a days or is it still present even now? Im guessing my wires fine since i recall using it for a few hours every once in awhile to let my pc use its mobile data. Interestingly enough it charged slow as fuck regardless of data usage such as when im just transferring over files.
Can this also work in reverse? My pc has a thunderbolt port and i was considering getting a usb c to c cable for the faster file transfers, but this makes me wonder if my pc in turn could fry the fuck out of my phone.

Play games most of the time? Response time is not as much of a marketing gimmick. Go with something with higher refresh rate.
Do literally everything else, and play games on the side though? Look for IPS and decent angles. Cheap, crappy IPS monitors will still suffer from severe backlight bleeding and such so be careful.

Refresh isn't a big deal at all if you're using one of the Sync technologies. You won't notice it changing.

Depends on the mouse and surface you use. Higher end mice usually have better hardware and software to combat those downfalls, though bear in mind high just means 50+, you dont have to buy those 100+ mouses for good mileage.
Surface matters to. Cloth gives more traction and plastic gives smooth movement obviously. Personally ive used a hard plastic mouse pad for awhile for so long that cloth feels to unnatutal now, buts probably better if you want to reduce jumpiness of a mouse when moving even slightly
I use a default mouse pad with wrist support, but it seems any surface I use, I still get jumpiness, and I have a Logitech G303 which are a bit more pricey from the looks of it...
For vidya, control should be a priority over looks. Fuck you graphics whores and your le better colors meme. No reason to spend so much for a high end ips when a decent tn does the job at a reasonable price

With a report rate of polling per second being at 1000.
Angle snapping for the mouse is off, and my screen is 1080p with a 60hz refresh rate.
