VERY IMPORTANT NEWS ALIEXPRESS HAS STARTED TO CHINK US ON DISPUTES
WE NEED TO RECONSIDER OUR SHOPPING HABITS IF WE CAN NO LONGER TRUST ALIEXPRESS

Absolutely based and redpilled

I can't buy from anywhere else so Loliexpress4lyf.

>start up a live chat with their customer service and explain your side of things and they'll do everything in their power to get on the ass of the seller. the live chat is bullshit, the first time they said they would escalate it to the senior dispute team, but nothing happened, then a while after i chatted with them again and they just told me to put a fake tracking number and write that i don't want the return, then there's a 30 day wait and the seller will probably escalate the dispute by saying they didn't receive the returned item, and then i won't get a refund since i didn't return the item
Cameron Price
I posted right before the other thread hit limit or whatever. But I will post here for when the previous one 404.
What 3d printer has csg been buying for the price? I've been looking at gearbest, and it seem anet a8 is popular, my budget is below or around 500usd.
Went through their system today, a seller tried to chink me over on a order. They claimed it was out of stock and told me to cancel the order as "I don't want it anymore", meanwhile the fucker had relisted the same item at a higher price. Have dealt with live chat before, it has worked faster for me than waiting on a dispute response you can also only open a dispute 10days after a purchase.

>• Starting today your reviews will now also be archived in the /csg/ Discord for easy viewing fuck off
fellas I'm looking for a /csg/ 120mm fan to use with a rad, has anyone ever tried anything ?
Isaiah Hill
>rad I meant heatsink
Nolan Ramirez
stay away from "shinny" plastic ones as they crack easily with time
Joshua Powell
Have you had any decent experience or only bad ones?
Grayson Lopez
"matte" plastic ones (glass ball infill, kinda fine textured) are fine, have a bunch of them around the house (bearings started rattling on one, oil "fixed" it temporarily while i waited for a baggy of tiny chink bearings to arrive, been good ever since)
Isaiah Thomas
>glass ball infill glass fibre reinforced* brain fart, but technically not wrong
Cooper Nelson
Are they strong enough to cool a heatsink or only as case fans ? Can you link me ?
very old ebay chink shit, no links sry they are all 2200rpm (i think) and they do put out plenty of airflow, if you plan on using a couple as a push-pull on a cooler it will be plenty, i bet you could keep them at 600rpm or lower even during loads (unless you are trying to cool an intel "earth reentry" cpu)
>All of this is little comfort to McGrath, who chafes at the thought of the Postal Service helping Chinese merchants poach his customers. “All of us sellers are selling a lot of Chinese goods in America but at least we’re creating jobs, making money, and adding to the economy,” he said. “But when people buy direct from China that’s adding nothing to the American economy.”
I hate chinks as much as the next guy, but this cunt is actually whining about the fact that the chinks are sending THEIR shit over to US, and that HE isn't getting his slice of the pie? Well laa dee daa mr. fuckface, sorry for not buying your 15$ USB cables you got for 45cents. Being the middleman and having a huge markup isn't a worthwhile business venture. Fuck off.
It's a worthwhile venture if you're buying in bulk and selling them at a markup thanks to you taking the risk of buying 500 things you may or may not sell. The idea behind this is even with the markup it's still cheaper than buying direct from overseas because paying for shipping for a single tiny item is much less efficient than for 500 tiny items at once. But the "free shipping from china" that decays if you order too much is skewing this market immensely, making it more costly to buy in bulk than not. Do you think you can not pay for shipping for a 10c item and expect some yobbo in a UPS van to burn $2 of gas to drive up your mile-long driveway for free? It has to be subsidised, and probably by the Chinese to stimulate their industry. Subsidies and price controls destroy markets. Now I'm not saying that 10 times price markups are acceptable, such as the sort of thing you get in stores like Jaycar, but online-only import stores often have pretty good prices, though still frequently worse than that you buy direct from china with free shipping.
If the free shipping fiasco does stop, I think with the knowledge accumulated on Jow Forumscsg would be pretty handy to get a foot up in importing the right products to a US-based or international import store that buys bulk and sells T2s and shark cards and other meme items to users across the countries. The warehouses could be pretty small too, since the items are small, a self-storage unit could be sufficient.
Grayson Powell
It has to do with the Universal Postal Union and currency manipulation for the chinks. Subsidized Chinese postal rates have to be honored for last mile++ in the destination country. The moment it hits freight size shipping the price goes up because it is no longer UPU rules which cover the dispersal of the products. This coupled with the extreme disparity of the fee they collect in the destination country versus its buying power in china means you cant out chink the chink.
Logan Rogers
>you cant out chink the chink Unless you buy really in bulk from taobao or alibaba? Breadboards on aliexpress are like $1.50, but see pic related for alibaba.
Ender 3, don't buy an Anet A8 unless you know what you're doing.
Matthew Ross
I'm thinking of getting a Pocophone F1 but I'm a bit worried about VAT fucking me in the ass. According to my calculations I'd have to pay about 60€ if my package gets checked at customs. The Mi Global Store on AliExpress offers some sort of guarantee that if I order by DHL they'll send the package China -> UK -> My country and avoid any customs fees on my part. Have any of you guys used this delivery method? Can anyone verify if this works?
This, why the fuck is Discord being forced onto everything?
Blake Morgan
>even as a non-Christian country China celebrates Christmas instead of (((Holidays))) Why are the west so cucked?
Aaron Mitchell
No idea, luckily we don't have this SJW shit and related here, everyone still calls it Christmas and you get looked at funny if you try to say xmas or holidays.
This even DHL is 20$. No one else is even close, even in my country they don't have free shiping on cheep shit under X amount of money
Jaxson Green
Chinese bathmat showed up. When I first picked up the package I figured it'd be shit since it weighs nothing, but it seems to stick well to the floor despite that and feels nice. Will see.
wew, that is quite the package for just a small battery. but then again, ive received a similar thing once for just a couple of pin headers strips. noice
Asher Fisher
I think they're all overpriced, it's much more enjoyable to make your own with some obscure tubes. Particularly one without acrylic, which is a bit of a shitty look.
Dylan Sanders
Because it's 2018.
Nathan Jenkins
To be fair Jow Forums isn't exactly the ideal format for such a discussion. The admin-pinnable posts on discord is probably fairly useful, not that I use it.
Oh and [review]@everyone[/review]
Samuel Morris
>imageboard >isn't exactly the ideal format for such a discussion you might be missing a couple of screws in there, look on the floor
Charles Rodriguez
>TFW you're $2 short on your Alipay and can't buy the parts you REALLY need
Are there any better straight down IEMs than shozy zero?
Connor Campbell
Because useful information has to be sifted up from the archives. Do you disagree? It's why we rely so much on archivebro in this thread in the first place.
should i buy the cx98 or the tin audio t2 ? the cx98 look like they will fit better and they cost alot less but the t2 are suppose to be amazing. is there a big difference? will the cx98 even sound better then the earbuds that come with the galaxy s9 ?
Luis Gray
The discord archive is a good format. It won't replace the thread but it's nice to have. Really don't see the problem. Good posts (reviews, mostly) get archived centrally, are searchable and it works. If you don't like discord, don't use it. It will never replace the thread, but it's nice to have and doesn't bother anyone.
Eli Peterson
>information has to be sifted up from the archives so? does soicord magically present the shit you are thinking about without you having to use the search or "keep scrolling up"^(tm)? dude, are you high or something?
Christian Powell
nothing. embrace minimalism. whatever you put there will look tacky eventually.
Christian Moore
So recently a stash of memed PHILIPS headphones SHP8000 and SHP9500 were discovered on AliExpress and shared here and on /hpg/
I bought a Philips SHP8000 from this seller and can confirm that it's the real deal. Bought it for $47 in the AliExpress app. The seller even threw in one of those phone rings as a gift, won't be using it and regift it but still nice of the Chinaman.
I'm looking to upgrade my Moto G (1st gen). Is there a workaround for the Sony camera DRM when using LineageOS?
Cameron Bailey
No idea just got it, I'm flashing TWRP right now and planning on installing LineageOS after that. Personally i don't care that much about the camera, i only want a small
Brody Baker
Anyone have experience with mmcx cables? I bought one with mic/buttons and the side with the mic/buttons is a little less loud which stinks. For tin t2
