I think this thread has proven no one on Jow Forums actually knows how to program.
nobody who knows how to program contributes to open source projects or hackathons
>what is OpenBSD
>what is the Linux kernel pre-CoC

() y if while do std::try}
Lazy fucks
real programmers do real work they don't work on open source projects for free t-shirts
I've been told it's back
>Rust is an open source project
>Rails
>Django
>the list goes on
I don't think they were paid in t-shirts
No, but that doesn't mean those projects aren't "real work"
My school is having an open house soon so I've prepared some things to show off at it. We get a credit for 5% of our grade to do something for it and a free dinner so, like, hell yeah.
>TOR relay on Raspberry Pi 3 B
Has been running for about a week now. It's very slow due to my slow internet. I installed tor-arm so I can monitor the traffic and connections, and I also installed Dataplicity so I can show off the cool graphs and stuff at school through a web browser. Running Raspbian Stretch.
>Raspberry Pi 3 B running Kali Linux
I haven't tested to see if everything is working on it. It boots, though. I'll probably see if I can make a fake WiFi network or something on it. Maybe do some aircracking. Really L33T h4X0r shit, you know?
>Ye Olde Toshiba Satellite with Totally sick HAXXX
BRO! We're BRINGING that TRIPLE BOOT! Three operating systems of immense power, and one that I think is slow and shitty. Win 7, Kali Linux, and Lubuntu. All on a 120GB HDD so there's no space for files. Doing it to flex hard on these nerds.
And yeah that's it for personal projects right now.
hecktoberfest sure sounds spooky
Garbage
