>ram doesn't matter
>AMD cpus are as good as intel cpus
>apple products are complete trash with n redeeming qualities
>Linux was an OS

>amd sucks
>anything other than the most expensive chipset is poor shit and will give u less frames

>internet is for porn
>jizzing on a keyboard is bad

>You can download more RAM
>I didn't know what thermal paste was so I went on g for help
Surprisingly you guys helped me fix it before i ran my computer without any fucking paste. Thanks for that

>linux and mac were the same
I was 11.

>I need to pay geeksquad to install a gpu and ram

pls forgiv

-900$
discount for you sir that will be -899$
on top of that the premium service laptop iron clean upgrade hood metal silicon finder and your total will be 1200$

>google maps can see you real time
>viruses immediately and irredeemably fucked the whole PC
>No one but a pro can build a PC, it's all about dat soldering and shit

That Arch was a good distro

>spending the big bucks for the top of the line is a waste, same performance will be mid-line in the next gen. buying decently old is so much better.

>intel CPUs are 100x better than AMD ones and never get as hot
This one is actually true, though. Not even bait.

AMD was the top of the line range and ATI was medium to low

yikes

Illiterate:

Thermal paste is unironically a meme. The CPU will be obsolete long before 2 extra degrees fries it.
>inb4 memeclocking
>>>/2003/ where overclocking, partitions, and burning CDs belongs

>price is directly proportional to performance
turns out a $750 thinkpad with no GPU and 4 GB of RAM makes for a shit gaymin laptop, but I was only 13 at the time

that Jow Forums was a board for technology

When I was like 6yo. :
>RAM and HDD size are the only thing a PC needs
>The newer windows a PC has the faster it is

At 9yo. :
>Thought clickbait videos to make your PC run faster are actually true

At 11yo :

>FX CPUs are superior

>More VRAM means better graphics card
>A CPU with higher clock frequency is always faster than a CPU with a lower frequency
>A PSU with a too high wattage will destroy your components if you don't fully utilize it

The standard stuff.

>if i get this motherboard over that motherboard board it's better because this motherboard is a brand some dudes online recommended

Having more vram is almost always a good thing unless your card is already high end. E.g. have 11gb of vram and I almost never use more than half of it. My friend though had to sell his 3gb 1060 and get a 6gb version because he was vram limited from getting the most out of the 1060's gpu

What if it's stuff that's 30 years obsolete and you're trying to preserve it? :^)

These except
>you can never have too much wattage so ill get 900w just in case

>being 11 when FX CPUs exist
Fuck off zoomer

Enlightened:
>Linux is fucking sweet
>Doesn't have any popular software but i wouldn't use it anyway since its proprietary. I get to use great FOSS alternatives.

>30 years obsolete
34 Years:

>PSU are like fans, theres no difference between cheap ones and expensive ones. If they're dying, they won't damage anything.
When I was 8 i went to Circuit City with my mom to buy a video card to play Sonic R on my Windows 98 machine and asking the guy for a 128 MB video card, I remember both my mom and the Circuit City guy not knowing what I was talking about. To this day I still don't remember If I actually needed the card or not, or if I was actually asking what I thought I was asking for, and that was 20 years ago. I do remember playing it though, that and Homeworld.

You aren't actually wrong here, just replace "CD" with "IP addresses". It's literally how ISPs work. they buy/rent a range of IP addresses from the higher (lower?) level ISPs that manage and own physical parts if the network.

Can you fix your own house and car?
If not, then you're illiterate in the more simpler machines, which are also technology

this
also

I think this is actually true.
4k porn that we get today is disgusting.

>no GPU

>Starcraft AI
Those fucking units couldn't even walk a straight line. I only noticed how bad it was when I played the remastered last time.
>tfw when you played 1 vs 8 on a map with a single entry to your base, blocked it with siegetanks and entered power overwhelming

Nah pornstars were actually hotter before

Now any slut with an iphone can make hotter shit

I first blamed retarded Goliaths and Dragoons on their bad driver canopy design. I grew up with SC super fucking comfy coop with my best buddy so in the end I knew better. Why can't I just go back? Getting lmaod 420 is the only way to even glimpse how it was.

>partitions
what even

Pre ryzen and were trash though. Friend had some 2011 AMD processor and couldn't run 1/4 of new games on it like dying light

I use to think graphics cards were like game membership cards(scratch off to reveal code) that you bought at the store and entered the code inti the computer and you get better graphics

Can I post for my brother?
I've been in the marines, as a dedicated cock sleeve for the qt big bois in the marines, and while I was away, my brother built a computer.
Didn't ask me for money or help, surprisingly.
Ended up buying an Athlon X4 880k, 8GB 2133MHz RAM, and a GTX 750 Ti.
For a similar price, could've gotten an i3 6100, 8GB cheaper RAM, and an R7 370 or something along those lines, if memory serves me well.
Also, please join the marines desu fampais, there's a lot of dick that needs pleasing :3 and while I love sucking hard boi cocks, I can't (unfortunately!) suck them all off at once! :c

>if I didn't pay for it, that means it's literally free
I occasionally, even to this day, apologise to my dad for costing him loads of money for all my phone sex bills desu

>>google maps can see you real time
>>viruses immediately and irredeemably fucked the whole PC
>>No one but a pro can build a PC, it's all about dat soldering and shit
basically all of these

>>soldering a cpu was a hard thing
I believe it is but just for some laptops and macs
