We literally has no answer to Intel 9th generation and nVidia Turing in gaming what do we do now AMDbros?

Nice thread intel shill

can you make it anymore obvious.

>Intel answer to threadrippers is a CPU that needs 2 PSUs
Wow

>Intel shills still haven't gotten the hint

Are you fucking high? I was pretty much made up that I was going to build a new threadripper, but I thought I might as well wait to see what intel has coming up. They have fucking nothing. I have no problem paying $2k for cpu's btw, they just need to be worth it. Threadripper is better than anything intel has to offer.

>Inb4 $1999 LGA3647 Z499 to "compete" with a $299 X499

Threadripper and RX series graphics cards are still very competitive.

Why does amd need to answer these releases right away? Nobody is buying them anyway because theyre so overpriced. Just wait until 7nm ryzen and navi.

Really doing nothing is probably the best thing amd can do right now anyway, so the market has time to absorb the absurd prices.

r/AMD IS IMPLODING AGAIN

This has to be the most underwhelming Intel generation since the Prescott era. Who in their right mind would consider a 9700K over a 2700X, or even a 8700K?

I already sold all my stock, fuck I still can't leave india it's not fair !!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Not even dirt cheap Freesync can convince gamers to buy that garbage with driver that constantly crashes.

At least its on 12nm and not still stick on 14nm, Intel shill

Cope shill.

Radeon drivers are pretty good these days.

Are you high? Nvidia still doesn't have any new mid-range cards. So yeah, RX series is still competitive.

>driver that constantly crashes
Are you talking about Linux or Windows performance? I use my RX480 in both and it doesn't crash constantly in either of them. It's not the most powerful card but it's enough so I can wait for the next generation. Also I don't have to log in with Facebook to get my GPU drivers.

What? So you want them to delay Navi more? Nice one Intel shills.

>with driver that constantly crashes.

pcworld.idg.com.au/article/644232/third-party-audit-reveals-amd-drivers-most-stable/

Are you actually retarded? AMD's drivers are more stable than Nvidia's confirmed by independent audit.

Damage control. Anyone who got burned by garbage AMD driver will ever go back to them again.

You dont care because this isnt /v/ and you use what fits your use case. This is probably the 12th thread today on this alone.

>(Update: Yes It Will, Hotfix Is Out)
Literally, a non-issue.

Was a gen1 Ryzen eary adopter and couldn't be happier. It really is the perfect fucking chip. Before this I had a 4770k that was an absolute house fire under even custom liquid. Now I have an R7-1700X that cut my rendering and encoding times in half all while running cool and quiet on a single tower, single fan air cooler. I am definitely looking forward to 7nm Ryzen.

Shame about AMD's graphics division though. I have a 980Ti and was going to upgrade to the Vega 64, but it's always driver/software issues with their cards.

Sit back and laugh as Intel makes its last, best stand before Zen 2.

Meanwhile Nvidia support on Linux is still shit. Even flickering is still a thing on Linux, fuck.

Gaymurrz who are building high end machines will buy them, mark my words.

It becomes an issue when AMD pulls this type of shit every few months or so. My first GPU was AMD and it was the worst PC experience I've ever had.

I'm going to have to ask you to step away from the keyboard and put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest for being too retarded for the internet.

80% of the games i play are old as dirt (dx9/8) and i don't have this issue on my R9 390x.

Wow getting a CPU thats worth $250 more, has a shorter lifespan, no upgradability, tons of security issues, comes with a shitty/ no cooler, and gets way hotter is really worth it for a few more frames!!

Ah, the "Just Wait" defense. Classic! I can count the number of times that's worked out for them on no hands.

Anyone who owns a monitor that can do 120hz+. You're not really this dense, are you?

Attached: 984984984984984.jpg (600x570, 16K)

Actually true. I got so fed up with AMD's shit that I switched to a fucking Fermi of all things and never looked back. I couldn't even run a simple fucking OpenGL game because AMD stopped updating drivers for one year old hardware.

Let the brainlets think they need the most powerful processor on the market to play their games in 4k of course. We are ascended

Only Chads use DaVinci Resolve

mid range is 2-300$ and there amd shits on nvidia

lets see here, used amd since the 4000 series, and prior to that had an nvidia 6000 card
my nvidia card blew up due to a driver
my amd cards had a cursor glitch
got a 280x
still has cursor glitch
my fan died so went for rma
msi gave me a 1060 6gb instead of an amd card

I get constant driver issues turning my monitor off, a few blue screens I think are gpu related and a few bluescreens I know are gpu related.

god fuck nvidias driver shit.

Didn't had a cursor glitch for 2 years now.

It's hilarious how Intel and Nvidia keeps pricing themselves up while AMD prices themselves too low.

That really assumes everybody is in the market for flagship nonsense. AUD2000 for a GPU is silly.

Still rocking my RX470. Will upgrade to whatever is the bang/buck solution from either Nvidia or AMD when cyberpunk 2077 comes out.

Anything else is stupid.

>he actually thinks Nvidia will lower their GPU prices after raising them by a couple hundred dollars for every stack
(lol

By the time CBP2077 comes out they'll have the 3080 at more expensive prices than the 2080.

we never would have got i9 on consumer shit if not for AMD you have served your purpose now try again next decade with bulldozer 3.0

Seething poor PajeetMD

I'm getting their nth polaris refresh because nvidia is still shit on linux and I'm tired of this GTX 960 piece of shit I have.

*crashes Adobe Premiere*

A 8700K is as good as the 9700K while costing $70 less, consuming less power and generating less heat.

Well memed my friend. Upvote.

8700k has toothpaste while 9700k is soldered and is secured since it has no hyperthreading.

One for the CPU and one for the CPU cooler lmao

>less features are now good and praised by intel fans
Couldn't get more retarded. I'm absolutely amazed.

AMD has nothing to worry about Intel and their $1000 1000watt CPUs for the time being. But they definitely need to do something about Nvidia's mid range beating their flagship.

You don't need that gpu performance though. 4k is fucking meme and 144hz is only for competitive gaming in about two games in total. Gaming was fine in 1080 30 fps for the longest time, now it's fine in 60 fps. The 480 can do that, let alone a Vega 56. And anyone who followed what nvidia pulled off in the past will not want to give them any money.

amd stock up after nvidia fails

how will amd even recover?

But their previous generation already BTFO the 2700x with the budget 8400

Attached: 1522868880358.png (1920x1080, 401K)

You first.

But hey, we're getting another Polaris Refresh

Even Intel's 8th gen beats 9th. Where is your argument again?

Are you stupid?
Ryzen 3700X coming soon. It's gonna be the exact same thing as 9900X, if not even better.

That guy again.

It'd barely beat the kaby lake just like Ryzen 2 barely beat skylake

We don't talk about the power consumption here.

If 7nm performs as advertised, it will 5Ghz turbo just like 9900X.
And we'll see if it has oc headroom.
One thing's for sure, 9900X won't oc for shit on 14nm++++.
Where's your argument?

A moment of silence for his home.
May the flames have mercy upon it.

overpriced to shit for marginal performance gains and housefires up the ass

Well, it should be here by April if not earlier.
Will be a simple upgrade, without MB switch again.
Also, did I mention it also should be 12-16 cores?

Literally what every intelshill said up to this day.
