'Ryzen can't into Adobe' they said
Who gives a shit about Adobe lmao
People who can't be self-driven enough to learn other tools and are "locked in".
Said no Intel shill ever.
It's fucking sad. I know so many people who are just locked in on Adobe CC garbage. Won't learn anything new, won't even believe that something else could work at least just as good, let alone be better than premiere/after effects.
There is no other service like Creative Cloud. Individual apps sure, but if you are a true media production company with broad scope, Adobe makes perfect sense.
>*NEW* Adobe Premiere doesn't matter!
B but Ayymd doesnt just doesnt work. Its on the list.
This is what I don't understand as a non-creative and as someone who has used Adobe products in the past, although last used before the Cloud Service. What does the cloud service bring which is better than Final Cut, Sony Vegas, or Avid, which are the other big players? Can anyone explain?
creative cloud lets you get every app for about the price of 2 apps.
Invidivual apps have competitors (Premiere has Final Cut, Resolve, etc.) and some of these are quite popular, but despite popular belief, something like Photoshop doesn't have any realistic competitor.
But if your company does photo editing, videography, music production, various graphic design/web desing/etc., then adobe is cheaper than buying all these apps individually.
thats....weird considering that adobe enabled the igpu of intel it should be quicker

AYYMD can't into Adobe, that's a fact
Intel's mainstream CPUs perform like HEDT with hardware acceleration, Rypoo garbage can't even hope to compete
noice me ryzen 5 1600 is bestest
DaVinci Resolve 15 is for Chads
How's illustrator performance?
That's it though. Everything else has a better alternative or equal.
final cut isn't even used by apple, and is only available on apple which is already being depreciated in major studios.
vegas got some fairly severe cuts from my understanding
avid while to my understanding is the standard in broadcast, is a motherfucker to learn
resolve relies on you buying into an ecosystem, and while its good, its the most limited editor in terms of content out there.
Personally, I would learn adobe or vegas, though vegas has stupid fucking issues that they refuse to fix that will force you to re render projects, along with having broken accelerator support for many versions.
there are almost no alternatives to premier, and even when there are, they are undesirable and you only use them if forced.

Intel hardware acceleration absolutely destroys Rypoo in Premiere Pro
It makes a 8700K perform like a HEDT CPU at much lower cost, absolutely insane
Can't wait to see the 9900K benchmarks on Premiere Pro with hardware acceleration, extra cores and threads will make it zoom past HEDT CPUs
>adobe media encoder
>low quality high bit rate videos
every intelligent user is exporting lossless and then using external better quality encoder
>freezes,forgets to ctrl+s
Nothing personal,kid.
What's a good application that does everything Lightroom does and is free?
Adobe have jacked up the price of the "Photographers bundle" at least twice and I don't even use Photoshop (it's disgustingly unintuitive).
Notice the CUDA? It's obviously using a Nvidia GPU so does not need to lean on the iGPU.
nvm my eyes..
imagine if amd slaps a basic vega on their 7nm
raping without saliva
Wrong, if you use the iGPU and CUDA it's faster
Then ask why Tech Spot say Ryzen is faster.
>Then tell me why
Lack of sleep makes Jack a dull boy.
ahahahha still remember this video..
literally got live a day after adobe patched their program for the igpu
what a coincidence
intel quick sync needs an igpu. the 9900k has no igpu, u fucking retard.
Kek, add it to the pasta
Kek, Intlels rekt
Are you fucking RETARDED?
ark.intel.com
> Processor Graphics Intel UHD Graphics 630
Quicksync isn't just quick, it's also very dirty. It gives really bad results. That's why for anything of value CPU(+CUDA) rendering is used.
That was literally INTLEL PROPAGANDA
>export to youtube
>benching cuda
I think you missed the point. Now bench some effects, and add ons that can't be nvidia gpu accelerated.
Keep seething shill.
Not everything and Adobe has a good pipeline for its toolchain. Most companies would rather have one set of tools that work well together rather than a fragmented mishmash that need fiddling
>Keep seething shill.
You are proving anyone wrong though.
>are not
>misses the point
ESL-user is a fucking retard.
>avid while to my understanding is the standard in broadcast, is a motherfucker to learn
Pro tools user here, not the same thing but just want add Avid is an unimaginably corrupt company. Apple/M$ of A/V software. Will always choose market coercion for share over increasing quality.
What is with the obvious paid shill that shows up in every thread spouting the same "hurr durr ryzen crashes/runs like shit on adobe/davinci" bullshit with zero evidence?
Anyone who actually produces anything
>with zero evidence?
But there is evidence. Have you tried using add ons, and effects? These don't scale well for multi core, and if you don't use them then there's no point in even using the software over gimp.
I mean with davinci reserve alone using temporal noise reduction just destroys amd.
It's not about Ryzen. It's about ThreadRipper. More specifically, the 2990WX 32-cores """workstation""" CPU which in theory should be a beast, but in all Adobe tests it fails miserably.
Interoperability. It saves time, energy and effort by being able to simply drag something made in one program and drop it into another (PS – IL – XD – ID; AE – PR). Ready made kits widely available everywhere—similar to front-end frameworks, it saves a ton of time. For convenience, you can store files in (((the cloud))) and have it available anywhere. I've used PS & IL extensively and as cliché as it might sound, there's no match out there for power users. The features just aren't there for advance usage.
>disgustingly unintuitive
If you think that PS is unintuitive, boy oh boy, just wait 'til you try the freeware ‘alternatives’.
But if you render in Blender and C4D then AMD is better.
If the problem is with software from a specific company, then it's the company and its software that's failed or (((failed))), not the CPU.
It's no secret that a AMD can't beat Intel on single core performance. There are many other types of software programs out there that are not designed to use so many cores, not only Adobe. It's more energy efficient that way, instead of feeding double the cores with electricity.
