I want to be able to save Jow Forums threads. But i was wondering whats the best way to do so. Just straight html or maybe create a json file with images link or create a special Jow Forums file extension where the text and file data is in one file.

Well theres a Jow Forums api already. just save the json every hour or so then compare it your existing archive then append the new posts
