Got an 8150 seven years ago and still don't regret it

Got 1400 a year ago and still dont regret it

Got 1600 18 months and still regret not getting 1700x.

Got a 2700 (non-x) a week ago and regret it immensely. My i7-6700 was definitely good enough, in everything except for video rendering in which the 2700 absolutely btfo's the 6700, but in gayming the 2700 does worse. Yes, I play gaymes.

Licked a negro a year ago, still dont regret it

>/Thread

>Still typing

If it was good enough in everything, why'd you get a 2700?

2700x boosts better but would probably be only slightly better at best than a 6700. tl;dr you are retarded.

>not waiting for Zen 2

same
love it
perfectly stable aswell
almost want to believe the instability was propaganda

Instability was probably launch bios on brand new architecture with brand new boards, and trying to discover ram that was properly stable running at spec.

Since we know the ins and outs of these processors and have much better firmware now, it's not surprising that we're attaining great stability.

got an i5-3570k 5 years ago and I don't regret it

Got i7 920 9 years ago and still don't regret it.

Got an Intel™ i7-8700K 6 months ago and still don't regret it

Why would you?

The next i7 does not even have hyperthreading and has less threads. Even if you bought yours when the prices were high its still a great buy compared to the 9700k.

lmao sandy bridge was more worth it

got a i5-4590 4 years ago and still don't regret it

Got a pentium last year, and still don't regeret it.

Got a 3770K 6 years ago and don't regret it

Based, got a g4560 and rx480 still don't regret any bit.

Horse shit u got crap ram
My 2700x shits over a 77k a mate has

got a 1700 at launch
don't regret it
I have it at stock speed, never use more than 20% in the games I play.
11/10 would buy again.

I had one for 5 years before the 2md mobo shat itself x58 notoriously unreliable

got a 2600 a few months ago, regret not Just Waiting(TM)

got an i5 2500k about 8 years ago, still don't regret it
been through 2 mobos, 3 psu and some 4 graphics cards. motherfucker's made of nintendium

This, the main reason i don't have an 8 core zen is that i still can't justify it for gaming when upgrading from my 2600k

I'm still rocking a Core i5 750, purchased September 2009 at Microcenter for $179 + tax. Probably the best value/$ on any electronic for me ever, but it has grown long in the tooth. Will probably go with the next Ryzen for my upgrade

What's your RAM speed?

try doing a clean install of windows 10 you fucking intel shill

This, my 1700 was shit when I changed, constant stutters and crashes, linux was working fine even for opengl/vulkan games, reinstalled windows and problem solved.

[email protected] represent. Running like a charme. Happy I gave amd another chance.

Just got a 2600 a few days ago and I'm very happy with it, kinda wish I had got a 2700x though.

>he paid extra for the x in the name
Got 1700 a year and a half ago and don't regret it

>2700x boosts better but would probably be only slightly better at best than a 6700.
>twice as many cores with basically the same IPC and frequency
>"only slightly better at best"
You're a retarded piece of shit and you should kill yourself.

any news about upcoming APUs? I want an 8c/16t R5 3400G with ECC support so bad

According to that meme, it would be pronounced dee ee uu es ee eks

I got a 1300X off ebay for $90 this spring and kinda regret it
It was a great deal, but I should've gotten something better because it bottlenecks my gpu too much. Something like a 1600 or 1700

are you running it at stock speeds? 65W is a bit of an overkill for it and you should be able to push out 3.8ghz without touching the voltage

Got a Threadripper 2950x the other week and don't regret it

Attached: _20181010_032233.jpg (5476x3271, 2.74M)

>2950x
lol what do you even use it for?

Running machine learning algorithms?

I'm an industrial designer, mostly Solidworks and Keyshot renders

Got a 2990WX a few weeks ago and also don't regret it.

2700X shits on a 6700 non-k in EVERYTHING, including gaming.
You have shit RAM, or shit fucked up from not doing a clean install of Windows, etc.

Hot.

Ya 4 threads just isn't enough now days except for low end.

Whats the rest of your system? Cooling?

You could get a xeon x3440 and overclock it, they're really cheap on ebay and will do 3.6ghz on an ok cooler, 3.8-4ghz on a good one.

wow really?Who would have thought...

for me its the 2400g

Got 1600 a year ago and it was shit. Sold it 4 months later.

Hard to believe, unless you are a retard and went with slow RAM, then I'm glad, retards deserve everything they get.

2600X a while ago for 160€
Fast, cool and quiet, can't complain for that price

>threadripper
>for solidworks
OH NO NO NO

Any tips on how to get my ram to run in dual channel on ryzen? My computer will only boot with single channel.
