Caps Lock was a must-have feature when I worked in TV news. All our scripts were written in all CAPS for the teleprompter. Sound bytes were transcribed in lower case.

I always rebind capslock to escape on my computers. Makes for a very comfy Vim setup.

I actually capitalize every letter with capslock, to the point that I only ever use shift for symbols. Weird habit I picked up when I was seven or eight years old. My parents bought me this game meant for children to learn proper typing, and for whatever reason, I just found that it was faster and felt better for me to use capslock when capitalizing single letters.

Some parts of my passwords require like 20 of them in upper case. Much faster to just turn caps lock on than have one of my hand on shift when I could be using both.
