Nibba, you use a raspberry as a pc?

Why don't u just get an optiplex and upgrade it a bit if you wanna be cheap as fuck?

I actually have an optiplex, but its a fucking power hog.

You can't make this shit up.

i fucking got a shitbox that can only run CS 1.6 and linux. It's the only game I play and I play it with mexicans apparently because they're the only other people dumb enough in a local ping to have a computer as shitty as me.

Noise!
What OS are you running? Specs?
It's pretty good to keep alive these "old" machines.

I used to run Debian, but currently it's Ubuntu. It really is just a workhorse, no tweaks, ricing or anything.
I wasn't going to throw it away or sell it (let's be honest, a few bucks if even that) after it had been with me for years, so I found some use for it, it's quiet, takes little power and is its own management terminal, so it's perfect for the current application. I'm not even going to worry, if it ever fails I'll just replace it with something more efficient.

I have no pic, but I have an optiplex that is in pieces that barely works. It is a miracle it works at all, and I will explain why.
It has survived a flood, being rained on, dropped, zapped by power outages several times, uses an unsupported cpu and still works just fine

looks like you were smuggling a PC into a german/norwegian low security prison. (I hid my X61s in a frozen pizza box to get it in. worked.)

got it, amerifats now put battery powered fans to their grills so the snickers bars cook faster. thank you for that piece of information based user

Attached: IMG_20181009_150832.jpg (4032x3024, 3.63M)

what's the battery for?

no problem, glad to be of service.

It powers the fan, which forces air through the coal basket. Think of it like a blast furnace, forcing the air over the coals causes them to burn hotter so more efficient cooking and less incomplete combustion, plus no need to wait around for the coals to get hot enough like a traditional bbq. It's actually marketed as being 'smokeless' and thus usable indoors, although YMMV.

Source: I bought one on ebay. Works pretty well if you live in a small place and want to grill quickly every now and again.

thanks based user

what have you done

a real beauty, isn't she?

Damn, the hard drive must really enjoy that

Mexican/10

your cable managent looks like shit, but you tried I guess

I really don't care to be honest, function over form. The first layer of the wall is very soft and the cable holders just poke into the wall, so I can rerun the cables by just pulling them out and pushing them back in by hand. Better than just having them laying or hanging.
