stop kvetching goyim and BUY IT

never before have I seen a motherboard that simply has "everything"

>not shilling the new $580 i9 or the i5 which costs as much as an R7 in the OP
SHILL

It even has 12x 4pin fan headers. Neat.

Motherboard manufacturers are having trouble keeping up with B450 demand in China. And they wasted too much time making Intel boards which they can't even sell.

B450 Gaming Plus is the same as the Tomahawk except that it looks retarded gaymerfaggy.

Why does two of the RAM slots have a small bracket over them?

It really has everything 6 channel ram, a proper vrm heatsink, 6pin power just for the chipset, a fan just for the chipset, power supply sli for double the power, and my favorite feature is the patented insurance fraud feature previously known as "overclocking" where it bursts into flames burning your house down and you get free money from the insurance company.

someone redpill me on 2700x motherboards, which ones should I be looking for

Friendly reminder that your build is worthless if it doesn't have INTEL CPU and NVIDIA GPU

>$580 i9
its $1500 in yurope

I assume it's a Dimm.2 slot and not a ram slot. Basically an Asus thing for a daoughtercard for m.2 drives.

I'm more intrigued by the dual 24 pins or the shee number of additional CPU power pins. My motherboard came with an extra 6 pin pcie input to handle multiple GPUs fine but this is another level. Not too many cases that can even hold 2 PSUs.

FUCKING WASTED REEEEEEEEEEEE!

ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VII

> ASUS

Titan X maxwell still worth buying?

can someone explain to me all those fucking eps connectors? surely its not what i think it is, and the 24-pins as well wtf?

I figured it out, 60Hz up to 75Hz monitor means that you can get 75Hz, but not at max resolution, so it's basically just a 60Hz.

...

do you ever need to replace thermal paste on your CPU? been like 5 years now

this but unironically

based

Anyone recommend a B450 microATX board for me? Looking for something for gamedev.

Yes if you touch and move it. Thermal paste doesn't lose it's conductivity, it does become dry though, so if you bump the radiator and move it it will be enough to make the good contact into a bad one.
Another way is just look at the temps, if they get bad then replace the paste, assuming all other factors are the same.

is used 1070 a good idea, or it would be used for mining like 99%

Attached: whutgoofy.jpg (231x298, 11K)

no what the fuck

damn that's shitty.
Probably limited by the display connectors?

Yes, generally after 3-5 years. Or if you transport it.

If you can verify it works and it's close to a 1060 price, yes.

B450M Mortar easy.

WASTED

They don't mine with 1070 that much, so maybe you won't get a miner.

So what are we expecting from the rx 670 and 680? Rehash?

>not ASUS

that is doesnt exist

Someone recommend me a good sub-$30 keyboard, please.

Attached: 1537695106298.jpg (533x800, 63K)

Fuck, so with the GPU I bought, I also bought a microSD card and an AUX cable. Those two things will be here today, but the actual GPU shipped out from Indiana, so it won't get here until Friday. Slightly bummed, but at least I have something to look forward to this weekend. I have to work Saturday anyways, but I'm sure I will install the card on Friday as soon as I get home.

Apparently they will reveal them in mid october

Rx 670 in a week
Rx 680 in a few weeks.

1 billion dollars in R&D money down the drain

It is now :^)
I'll make sure I post a pic-by-pic of the install just for you user

You have shitty cable. I realized like 2 weeks ago that my monitor was 75hz but my shitty hdmi couldn't handle it. Now that I changed it it's 75hz. Imagine 3 years on 60hz when all this time I had 75hz. I was so fucking mad then I realized most games are locked to 60fps anyway lol.

thoughts on my build?

How do you test "true" fps? I am a brainlet when it comes to screen, better ask than stay dumb I guess.

>500W for a 65W APU
Mein juden.

It's not the cables.

Attached: c582191e918c3351ae78499823a230a5.png (365x158, 19K)

I'm not sure what you mean? I just decided to google my monitor because one of my friends asked me and I realized it's 75hz, then researched a bit why I can't go any higher than 60hz in settings and found out it might be because of my cable changed it and 75hz setting just appeared.

the 3000mhz ram seems like a bit of an overkill for that rather budget-y system
but it has great upgrade potentail

Are you sure it's 75? Lots of screens accept a 75hz signal, but drops 15 of the frames.

newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAHJM82W3762&cm_re=R5_2600x-_-19-113-497-_-Product

i honestly dont know what are you talking about. are you implying that 500W is too much?
yeah i might upgrade in the future, also i heard that you should have fast ram with APU

I tried vsync with fraps and it shows 75fps in games with unlocked frames also it feels noticeably smoother

The 2400g won't work with the B350 without a BIOS upgrade. Even if you have the required older CPU to preform this, just get the B450.

>R7 2700/X - Best high-end gaming

Kill yourself shill

Attached: 1538419587419.png (500x970, 49K)

You can get real mechanical keyboards on Amazon for 30-25 bucks.

RedDragon or Dierya has some with Blue or Brown switches. There's a ton of them.

They're pretty good value for the price.

Read the whole sentence

If it feels smoother it might be 75, but fraps inst going to show you if it's 60 or 75, since the pc is still pumping 75 frames to the screen and the screen is accepting them, then just dropping them instead of showing them

Yeah that's the vsync part you dummy, if the screen was dropping 15 frames then vsync would lock your fps to 60. Do you even know how vsync works?

Why th fuck would you care about the color of components you can't even see? This is even worse that rgbt shit.

>that post again

Attached: 1537053553328.gif (200x270, 1.12M)

I love this design choice, it's just a shame is a fucking overpriced gimmick. OH WELL GUESS I'LL JUST KEEP WAITIN AINT IT

Is this bait? Must be.

>Do you even know how vsync works
You clearly don't.

Why shouldn't I get the intel Hades Canyon NUC as daily driver? I don't do much besides the occasional game (BF3 and Asetto Corsa) and 2D CAD. Running into two 1980x1200 screens, gonna upgrade to a single 4k one probably.
Also how did Apple not put this thing in their patented aluminium box and market it as the new mac mini?

>VSync aims to match the graphics processor’s frames with the refresh rate of the monitor to fix any syncing issues
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder what that means

hey man, would you mind adding the hardware used on the systems?

You could literally get the r5 2600 on newegg for 160 which is a ridiculous steal.

Should I do it lads?

Attached: 1538450017185.jpg (250x236, 8K)

i think it might actually work, but its risky since you dont know if the motherboard will have updated bios or not. ill ask in the shop where im buying all of this and i hope they will be able to tell me

but if ill have to go for the b450, do i have to check all compability again, or it will be compatible (if all the components were compatibile with b350 plus)?

do you need it?

Get 3000 CL15 or 3200 CL16 RAM.
Or 2800 CL16 @ 1.2v, 2666 CL15 @ 1.2v, and manually OC
Even with a heavy overclock, you won't use more than 150W.
Even if you plan to add a dGPU later, 450W is more than enough extra for that.

>Get 3000 CL15
why? whats the difference between 3000 15 and 3000 16 and why is 15 better for me?

Would a french CPU work in my PC if I bought my MB, RAM and all the other parts here in the UK?

Why get 6c/12 for $160 when you can get 8c/16t for $580? Only 3.5x as much.

>what's the difference
7%. About 4-5% higher fps for a few bux.

Is your PSU baguette compatible?

Literally no difference but for some reason 3000 15 tends to be cheaper.

>spending money is saving money
Stop thinking like this.

Ok, I'll type this very slowly for you. Lots of monitors accept a 75Hz signal. Meaning that from the GPUs perspective, assuming you are running at 75Hz, it looks like the screen is a 75Hz screen. The screen, after accepting the frame, sending it's vsync signal back, all of the communication with the GPU, then just ignores every 5th frame. It still only renders at 60Hz.

Damn you're a dumbo

It makes no fucking sense to buy low-rated ATX PSUs, they're not even much cheaper (often not cheaper at all), and if you ever add more components they'll be operating outside their efficiency peak.

Unless you're building some SFF low-wattage portable computer, there's no reason to buy a PSU rated at less than 500W.

>all the recommended CPUs are AMD
Why? Is this just a fucking shill thread that is in a state of constantly being reposted by the same fag?

I was looking at some pre built PCs, all for gaming, some with 1080s in them, so relatively high end, yet all of them had

well maybe because I literally cant buy any intel cpus unless I buy used.

The B450 is a direct upgrade from the 350. All 350s were re-released as 450, including your Prime

And why is that?

>or are prebuilt PCs ripping of retards who don't know to look at ram speeds?
Yes. Stop wasting your time looking at prebuilts.

price to power ratio, dipshit.

They're all out of stock or literally don't exist (9th gen) and fuck importing and paying twice as much

wat?

>Cheaper
>great performance

Intel got blown the fuck out.

top bait

>abloobloo i'm poor
They're not the best performing then, they're the best value, which should be stated.

So you have a very different situation, since you're a foreigner.

>cheaper
>great performance
>but less performance than intel

I'm not shilling for either brand, but it's annoying to read when it's obviously just being recommended to save money but it's not being said.

Because intel is overpriced, overrated shit

The primary goal of any consumer is to save money, retard.

that's your goal, neet poorfag, some people just want the best

>less performance than intel
lol

>be me
>R5 2600 cpu
>friend gives me a gtx 780 from a SLI he had, card is working perfect
>try it n my build, no display
>put old Quadro 600 my cat was using for litterbox and it works perfect
>run speecy, then device manager, gtx 780 not recognized
>find in the internet people havin the same issues with ryzen 2nd gen and gtx 780/titan

Not sure who is to blame here, gonna test the card in a intlel core quad

No, the primary goal is to get the best performance. If you want to recommend Ryzen at X price point, that's fine. Otherwise, stop being a fucking mongoloid.

You're being silly

>>but less performance than intel
>"Lol dude pay 150 more for 10% performance increase"

Attached: 1536676076707.jpg (399x400, 16K)

>he paired amd cpu with nvidia gpu
Lol enjoy your gimped gpu

>lol le frog meme 10% isn't more
Kill yourself.

Of course not you're not shilling, master!
You show them goy they better be loyal and shit if they want true performance!
>price doesn't matter
You let the goyim know.
