1) What model router do you have?
2) What firmware do you use? Is it up to date?
3) Have you considered business-grade routing?

Daily reminder that DDWRT is shit and you should be using LEDE or Gargoyle for stability and speed.

Hourly reminder that Tomato is dead and you should move to a non-dead firmware.

Disgusting
Not even a passable trap

lmao just get a zyxell

>1) What model router do you have?

Dunno. Some shitty one from my ISP.

>2) What firmware do you use? Is it up to date?

Dunno. Whatever came with the ISP router.

>3) Have you considered business-grade routing?

Yes, but my ISP uses VDSL2 and I literally can't find a compatible modem or router for that shit. I've pretty much given up on trying to customize that stuff.

Get the modem to dump frames directly to wan, then get an EdgeRouter Lite

Life is good fren

Wut, there are plenty VDSL2 routers out there, high end ones.

Show me.

How?

He will do just fine with a 40 dollar to link and LEDE
First thing you do, block access to your modem and install Adblock

Tplink*

Which tplink?

SonicWall TZ here - solid metal case, does everythign I want for NAT and firewall including VPN

>Daily reminder that DDWRT is shit and you should be using LEDE or Gargoyle for stability and speed.
But LEDE isn't installing on my DIR-300 for some reason.

what is her name?

Lede has remerged with openwrt, checkout openwrt for latest and stable builds for your router.

>her

Xiaomi Router 3g with padavan fw. Thought about 10gbit network, but found it too expensive for now.

Popiquin on redit
Tallkylatte on ig

So, lede is no more?

Officially no.

here ya go faggot Motorola MD1600

> Hourly reminder that Tomato is dead and you should move to a non-dead firmware.
I grew out of ricing a router's OS. I'm behind an ISP's NAT, so I don't care about scan bots or vulnerabilities. It does what I want, maybe not too much (wouldn't mind a normal iptables interface w/kernel modules), but whatever.

AdvancedTomato on RT-N16

RT-N18U with the latest DD-WRT. WIFI turned off since I don't need it. The only issue is it won't do full gigabit speeds. Closer to 800Mbps.

1. Sagemcom... something from the isp with optical fibre, wifiAC, 4xGBE, catv
2. It is updated automatically by the isp
3. No. I've used a worse router with my last isp and it was good for me. The new one have more than I need.
