Just use windows photo viewer

Becouse, from what I heard, it loads ALL (or most) pics on your PC at once when you open at least one of them.

Windows 7 doesn't have this problem.

It's Microsoft, brought to you by h1b spaghetti coders.

i use irfanview too

Install QuickLook. MS Photos has to load in the whole library and AI scanning and other things like annotations. QuickLook makes it so you don't even have to open the image in a program, you just hit the spacebar to see the full image.

I guess you heard wrong, because it also take a hugeass time to load other pictures after the first one

MB I understand it wrong. It can not load it, but scan your hdd on presence of enother images.

>QuickLook

wow, this work suprisingly well

it might feel dated but it's the best we have

>that 30 years old boomer who still thinks he is the target audience for the companies, noticing things that 99% of their consumers don't even think about

>excusing low quality programs

The world needs more software like Total Commander, Irfan View and 7-zip.

>native code, uses mostly win32 API only
>few megabytes installed
>ultra low memory usage by itself
>installed as fast as you can click next. No msi garbage doing dumb shit for minutes
>loads in a blink even on older systems

i guess it takes some time to analyze the image and upload it to their database. it might be doing it every time you open the same picture instead of remembering it

infranview? *sips* now that's a good image viewer

Are you one of those guys that says "unused RAM is wasted RAM" and then can only have 3 programs opened at the same time?

>> shipped with system used by 90% of PC's
Okay you're right
>> takes half a minute to load a single photo on ssd
Your SSD IS FUCKED basically
>> uses 50% of CPU
Do you have Intel with U letter ?????
>> updates add useless features only
You're right

Ew put some clothes on

enable windows photo viewer op, it's still in windows 10 just disabled under a registry key
infran is nice too of course but it doesn't come with your system

Hmm, No!

Throw out your pos pc and get something from within the last 7 years.

I run win 10 one some obscure crap and had no problems with the photo viewer, even in total energy saving mode pics load in under 0.3sec

She's cute
