Let's settle this once and for all

6/12 vs 8/8?

I would pick physical cores over virtual threads any day of the week, and I'm not even a gamer.
With the new Intel lineup hitting shelves in less than a week, this is pretty relevant.
Pic slightly related.

9600k is the only Intel processor you should consider. And that's only if you NEED crazy high frames, like to push 240 frames for your 240hz monitor.

For anything else, get Ryzen.

Did you even read the post?..

Is that even a question? 6/12 has 2MB L3 per core, 8/8 has 1.5 (like any other i5 before it).

>circumcised cores

intel castrated their entire fucking lineup into i5s

8/8>6/12
Physical cores are always better than virtual ones

>Expecting an AMDrone to read anything
They're basically unpaid shills and still lose lol

>Unironically using hyperthreading
Enjoy your memory vulnerabilities

Probably 8/8 if you're buying new but an upgrade from 6/12 won't be worth it.

Intel's 6/12 performs just a 5% slower than their 8/8, while costing $70 less.

kek
in cinebench maybe

How do you know if new processors are under embargo until 19th?

If youre not a gamer then why not go for both physical cores and some additinal pylons/threads

My dad works at Intel.

So does mine!!!!! what if we have the same dad LMAO is that you Derek?

6/12 easy.
Physical cores are better than virtual cores but 3 virtual cores are almost always better than 1 physical.
Also, you get better cache and so on.

You'd be dumb to pick 8/8.

>buying entire new system
>not paying the jew tax of 100 bucks to go from 8/8 to 8/16
The 9900k Is literally the only choice in this lineup

>pozzed circumcised cores
Reminder one Zen core = 2.5 Intel cores.

9900k is in Threadripper price range.

Then you literally buy a threadripper or a ryzen 5/7 for half the cost

Did you read that user's post?
Seems like he answered your illiterate ass fine.

Only true for Intel because their HT is garbage. It's completely shit because it was made to dodge IBM's SMT patents. It's just a cheap knockoff. 8c/8t Ryzen would be inferior to 6c/12t ryzen.

this

the 9600k is 6/12
are you retarded on purpose?

even a shitty 8700k costs more than a 2700x
lmao

Just realized this so I had to make a meme
