Sound programming language

Is there such programming language that you can make code with sound. Like instead of typing code you make sounds and computer translates sounds into code

no

I don't know. It does sound interesting, you should try developing something like that.

Sure if someone makes a compiler for it

I've never heard of that but I know about Sonic Pi
It's the other way around but it's quite funny to play around with

if one note is one letter | | symbol then you can code with sounds but a programming language that translate sound patrons into tasks seems awful

Write code using a voice assistant

You do have libraries to make music.
I know that's not what you asked for but its programming sound related.
Check out Euterpea for Haskell or overtone for clojure.

Make a program that translates autistic screechings into java, shouldn't be hard.

26 Notes in chromatic scale could be letters
Another 26 notes in a higher scale could be symbols
Chords could be commands like IF, THEN, WHILE
And perfect fifths could be something like compiler commands like RUN

Sure, the problem comes later when the next batch of programmers keep getting C's cause they can't get the pitch down for the final exam.

csound

to be honest java have tons of boilerplate code so saying "make boilerplate x" would cover 90% of code

Yes and it's called Velato. Basically, you make a note-sheet that is both code and a midi note-sheet. Though it's stack-based, is fairly similar to brainfuck, so I have no idea what you're gonna be doing with it.

fuck you for stealing my owjak loadjak kak

>why didn't nobody make a way to program with sounds
>why didn't nobody make a way to do a time consuming task have its tool needing to take time to handle
gee i wonder why

gee, why don't we use RGB to code?
#000000 for null
would actually be quite nice, but we would need half-optic computers first
This. There's just no application use for it

>what is midi

Yeah there is, the Salt Lake City public library has a book on it. Look it up in their catalog.

Sound waves are really just an x,y co-ordinate system, with x representing frequency and y representing amplitude.

That is a book on how to make sound with code, not how to program using sound you doodle.

If tone is a measurement of frequency, what's pitch?

Making code with sound != making sound with code

yes, use a voice recognition software to write code.

It could be JIT compiled, you just yell shit and the computer does it

I should go get that tomorrow.

>sounds interesting
You had one job user
