install tor depending on your package manager, in archlinux for instance
sudo pacman -S tor
then start tor
sudo systemctl start tor.service
sudo systemctl enable tor.service
then install this extension

you will find the chrome and firefox links in that github link
then add the proxy server with address 127.0.0.1 and port 9050
then enable the proxy on any website you want

Look up Qubes+Whonix for least risk. Use a VPN on your router (one that accepts payment with cash). Traffic will go Tor (Qubes) -> Tor (Whonix) -> VPN (OpenWRT) -> destination. They'll see the VPN IP, ask for logs and if they get logs it'll point to a Tor exit node. You'll have so many layers of onion not even the glowiest of the glowiest CIA niggers will be able to backtrace you.
