How can one be so wrong
Look at pic related, this is how a cooler should look like you newfag

Attached: brown.jpg (259x194, 10K)

some people are too blind to see the greatness

Looks like it's from India. Screw Noctua.

>he can't afford the best

Attached: OHMY.png (306x397, 212K)

Imagine being a gaymer faggot with a windowed case and caring what a CPU cooler looks like.

I literally can't.

There's actually a Noctua low profile cooler in my HTPC... because I can't see that ugly piece of (good) shit.

having a window in any case is silly anyway so can't see it anyway

Imagine not displaying your BROWN fans for everyone to see
I guess some people will stay plebs for their lives

Attached: bestfans.jpg (1550x1200, 274K)

I don't understand why they stuck a hideous brown fan on that thing. Even an old copper ring Zalman looks better.

The car engine heatsink will forever be the best looking air cooler. I'm still using one now.

For me, it's the Wraith Max

>hideous
>this
>zalman
>better
Dude something is seriously wrong woth your head. First the brown fan is not hideous, it's cool. Second zalman is shit and couldn't even keep a turned off pc cool

You put a cooler the size of an engine block inside your PC. It looks like garbage and you have no common sense. It's not even cool in an ironic way. It's just a testament to your complete lack of taste.

>he doesnt know
Do you have any idea how cooling works?

>but it isnt mah fancy gaymer rgb BALCKED cooler
>clearly you are the one with shit taste
stop projecting you niggerfaggot

>uh uh i bet you use RGB you dumb fag
I think RGB is trash but a 2 lb shit colored cooler is worse. I believe you actually bought it so you could get into arguments like these.

You really don't know, do you?

Nice!
which model is this?

>the color affects the performance in a negative way
You cant be serious now

Attached: jojofkdis.jpg (480x385, 33K)

Putting words in my mouth doesn't help you here. One could even argue that your hilarious XBox sized cooler completely fucks up the air flow in your case.

Noctua makes awesome coolers. But I speak for everyone when I say it looks like they dipped the fans in shit.

come at me bro

That looks like shit despite being expensive. Why won't noctua offer different colors?

they just introduced their colored line, my guy

I have pic related. It's literally 2x Hyper 212 EVO's together. I swapped the fans out fkry old EK vardar fans I had.

Attached: Screenshot_20181017-181355_Newegg.jpg (1080x2220, 457K)

As someone who likes RGB, I gotta say that's a bit on the ugly side.

Yeah. I was a CM fanboy for a while and wanted to own their first ever dual tower heatsink. Underwhelming to be honest. I wish I had gotten a BeQuiet! Dark Rock pro or nocuta cooler.

>zalman is shit and couldn't even keep a turned off pc cool
You've never owned one or you would have mentioned being cut by one.

Sorry user, I'd rather go with something from Cryorig on the cheap side or Noctua if I really want to get my wood on.

If I have the money, I'd rather go for a cheap Corsair H60. Dig the low profile minimalist look though.

Attached: Alpine_11_Passive_f01.jpg (464x340, 76K)

What the hell is that giant box of a heatsink? It looks like it could hold all your business cards inside.

>black
>literally worse performance for some 1337 looks

Bitches pls

I love transformers

Zalman full copper always looks better. It's the color of richness

>brown on white color scheme
What did Noctua mean by this?

Attached: 9e8.jpg (1000x1195, 80K)

you have lower temperatures using blue led and higher temps using red, that's just how science works pal

isn't that the pos aio with the pump in the radiator?
if anything, this is the most retarded cooler one could get

Who cares if it looks good if its going to be inside of my case?
As long it is effective its good.

>That looks like shit despite being expensive. Why won't noctua offer different colors?
>what is the REDUX line
their grey ones are actually half the price for the same shit.

Where have all the downdraft coolers gone?

Attached: ScytheBigShuriken2RevB.jpg (640x480, 23K)

Back to where they came from, Hell itself.

where they belong

no

What's a good air cooler with fans no bigger than 12cm?

Currently running the Hyper 212X Turbo with upgraded static optimized fans but my Ryzen is hitting high 70s with occasional bumps into the low 80s just below thermal junction when running Aida64 stress test.

Ambients are 30~32C indoors with humidity rarely dropping below 60%.

Too niche to be a viable product, but still kind of neat.

I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 I think. Cooler is dookie bro

I do it all the time, it's fine.

Simple and elegant and performs better

Attached: h7.jpg (550x550, 43K)

The absolute best would be the NH-U12S SE-AM4 with two of their new 120x25mm fans but that's $100.

Attached: 0678f7edda3cb1ccb18c4ae46ae94dce.1600[1].jpg (1600x1200, 104K)

I wonder if someone is still using this monstrosity (in terms of weight anyway since it is at least 4 pounds without a fan) in 2018

Attached: TRUE 120 Copper.jpg (516x638, 364K)

FUCKING THIS, holy shit

>Le only fit in full size towers from 2015 or earlier cooler, with shit coloured fans

Just get an AIO and actually have some room in your case, that thing is like half the size of an mATX board.

>Le only fit in full size towers
>blocks your path
But really, if a Mini-ITX case with a horizontally mounted mobo can fit that cooler and yours can't, you probably have a shit case.

Attached: main[1].jpg (600x580, 125K)

>having a window in any case is silly
I thought this for a while until I tried living without one. Having to actually open your case to check dust / fans / free PCI and SATA slots etc. is annoying. A window isn't just rice, it actually has some convenience utility.

>mfw literally the only reason I won't buy noctua is because they're too retarded to sell their coolers with a generic black fan on it
I'm not buying the cooler and then a chromax fan on top of it. I'll just buy a bequiet instead, thanks.

holy shit that's fucking autistic

>I thought this for a while until I tried living without one. Having to actually open your case to check dust / fans / free PCI and SATA slots etc. is annoying. A window isn't just rice, it actually has some convenience utility.
You're a mouth breathing retard. Get intake filters and positive pressure, no more dust. Check fans? Why? Check free PCI and SATA slots? What? How often would you have to do this?
I'm actually angry at how fucking stupid you sound. Completely ruined my night.

Approx. 2 years ago I posted a thread here asking for a sensible replacement for that piece of CPU cooling autism that was in a box I picked up cheap.

I was attacked. It was like I pinched one off on to Jow Forums's sacred totem. Fucking assfucked faggots.

Attached: 1537561534306.jpg (686x461, 22K)

Noctua really are fucking Austrian aren't they? That's some Mercedes Benz part-tier complexity

>Get intake filters and positive pressure, no more dust
Completely and totally untrue from my experience. You can only minimise dust, not stop it. You will have to manually clean dust no matter what, and being able to check through the window to see when it's due is very convenient.
>Check fans? Why?
To see if they're working. I've had GPU and CPU cooler fans die in the past and once again, it's very convenient to be able to peep in the window to see.
>Check free PCI and SATA slots? What? How often would you have to do this?
Rarely, but once again, it's convenient when I'm thinking of popping something new in my PC.
What practical benefit does having no window offer you? The option for side intake fans? Not to mention that in the current case market you've basically got to go out of your way to get a case without a window.
I'm actually laughing at how fucking autistic you sound. Completely made my night.

Attached: 1470032009288.jpg (343x343, 14K)

Agreed.

If anyone is serious about keeping their system running, they will have a preventative maintenance schedule.

I personally pop the cases every 6 months and hit them with compressed air and double check connections.

i just cant see this fitting

>That's some Mercedes Benz part-tier complexity
elaborate please

based and redpilled

Literally been using a Hyper 212+ for the last 7 years. I wonder if I should buy a brown fan for it

I have also been using a Hyper 212+ for the last 7 years. Have one of those corsair hydro-bearing PWM fans on it for the past 2 or 3 years though.

Still on the stock one. I give it a clean every 6-12 months. More or less when I remember. Still chugging along.

My original fan does still work I believe, I just changed it for aesthetic reasons.
I'm actually wondering if I'll continue using this cooler when I go AM4 next year. Depends on how much overclocking capabilities they have and if I can find a AM4 bracket for it.
