Opinions?

You're retarded. It's retardedly easy to fake the mail header.

Solid 6/10. Someone will genuinely fall for this

calm down. cowboy. we know it already.
who? ;)

Fake and gay

If he really had access to all the user's data, why would he need them to give the money to him instead of just taking it? You'd have to be an actual spastic to fall for that.

data as for pics, vids, docs, etc
not bank data

Tell him that if he can prove to you that he actually has all that, that you will instead pay gim double (600usd).
Give him a specific (difficult) task for him to do.

Fake

more like 3/10.
No bold texts to seem more threatening, no artificial time limit to increase psychologic pressure, not good spacing in paragraphs to let the reader breathe and follow your steps like a puppet master, extreme use of exclamation points. and finally, NO STEP BY STEP; CLICK BY CLICK EXPLANATION TO BUY BITCOIN AND SEND IT TO THE HACKER.

Normal people CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT buy bitcoin and do not understand technology, which is why this scam works.

There are more grievances than this. Your flavoured text that is supposed to sell this scam is not understandable by the normal person and you dont include the scraps of information you have. ( You could search his email adress trough FB, Insta and other sites and include them to sell the story )

>NO STEP BY STEP; CLICK BY CLICK EXPLANATION TO BUY BITCOIN AND SEND IT TO THE HACKER.
true

but the "hacker" sent this email from the same victim account.

tell him how much it turns you on knowing somebody was watching you jerk it

With a trojan, I can get anything I want.

I can take webcam shots anytime I want. I can keylog and get all of your account data.

Which is suspicious because nobody I know would use a trojan for ransom. Ransomware typically encrypts your computer and asks for a ransom to unlock it. With a trojan, there's no point in asking for a ransom when you already have everything.

I'm guessing if this is real, then whoever made it is a Pajeet and doesn't have any information. Probably sent this to thousands of emails and hundreds will comply.

Trojan builder and packer are very hard to find these days.

>it's another "ohoho i have a virus on your computer and i caught you dashing your doodle, now send me $300 or i'll show it to all your friends" scam

Sad that Jow Forums is falling for it. There are literally fucking hundreds of these.

Remote hacking isn't as effective as social engineering anymore. Vulnerabilities are found in humans more than machine security.

Go on any dating website. You'll talk to a fake profile and receive unsolicited nudes. Then they'll change their identity to a father figure and say the girl you were talking to is underage and demand ransom or they'll call 911. And people fall for it. This type of social engineering is far more effective than getting somebody to install something these days.

no cams
social engineering?

Send him some more cp if he's so fascinated by your browsing habits. Clearly a new friend can be made here!

cp? you like cp?

Obvious scam, it's too generic. Anyone who actually had the data claimed would have included a few bits of information which he couldn't have easily known to prove it.

yes I think providing more info would have increase the pressure.

but he sent this from the victim's account. HOW?

you can see his email in the "sent" inbox

>social engineering?
Phishing and impersonation I’d guess.

I would assume it's spoofed in some way or he actually got access to the e-mail account. People use shit passwords and repeatedly use the same password on different services. If one of them ever suffers a breach (which overall happens quite frequently) it's not hard to get access to an e-mail account.

shit op you better send the money

just mark it as unread and there you go, he won't get notified

change password asap

Any pro opinions?

Admittedly his broken English sounded kinda hot
>You are so funny and excited!
God I wish that was me

> social engineering?
Is this the first time you heard about social engineering? Are you 12?

>You are so funny and excited!
Not English?

almost
why?

underage B&

The problem is YOU CAN NOT SEND HIM BACK.

delete your computer, QUICK!

>delete
>computer

I work for as a "tech support" for a cable company in the mid west. Of course we have free email accounts included with the internet plan.

Boomers have been calling us for the past 4 days about getting this email.

>My nickname in darknet is roller654

now phenomenon

Explain him that what he's referring to as hacking is actually called cracking.
