Why should I fuck up my wall to mount a monitor(s) when I could just purchase and easily install one of these...

To avoid having vibrations reaching your monitor when you touch your desk. Also it's just a couple of holes, easy to fix if you want to move things around. Though i have always had my monitor in the same spot for years and this is the case for everyone i know

Seriously, why would you mount your monitor(s) on the wall? A living room TV I can understand, but an arm is definitely the superior choice for a desk setup.

I have never heard of anyone mounting computer monitors to their wall. TVs, sure. But monitors? Never.

my floor stands were surplus from a TV studio, suspect they were custom jobs, solid af tho ;) - to these, added monitor arms by vogels (vogels.com) - they are Dutch, YMMV outside Yurope re: availablity. Aint cheap, but, having tried the cheap shit, can only recommend, they also make stands etc. For floor stands in general, your best bet is probably looking for TV stands in AMZ and go through the reviews, to these can either mount direct (VESA) or put an arm on them if you need flexibility, monitor neare, etc. Prob is maybe more finding the correct height, but with everyone buying 40"-50"+ TV's and shit now, find it difficult to believe ANY stands be so shit as not to be capable of a monitor or two. Floor stands are also way, way better than screwing shit to your desk and hoping for the best tho, honestly.
