So I bought an extra charger for my phone which has an output rating of 1 A at 5.1 V. However while charging my phone only draws anywhere from 100 to 300 mA, with maybe less than 200 mA on average (measured with an app called Ampere). My phone tells me it is "charging slowly" with this charger.
But I have two other chargers, both with output ratings of 850 mA at 5 V from both of which my phone draws anywhere from 600 to 850 mA and charges at the speed it should.
What gives? Is the new one just cheap and inefficient? It was only $5

Dude, there's no excuse for owning less than 2A chargers these days. Nearly everything benifits from it, and it gives you overhead for shitty cables, which most are. Fuckin shell out and be glad forever.

My old living room PC setup used to be comfy as fuck. Had two monitors and one TV plugged in to the old 1070, with one of the monitors being duplicated on the TV. Now I got a new 4K TV and it's all fucked up and I don't know what to do. When I use the same setup, everything being shown on the TV and the monitor it's duplicating goes down to 30fps. Pic related is what I'm being shown in the Advanced display settings menu. Now, I can see the TV refresh rate is 30hz for some reason, but the moment I disable the Syncmaster, it goes to 60hz.
Also, the TV has HDR but it's showing up on the information as SDR. Already tried going into the "Display adapter properties for Display 1" and changing it to 60hz, but it resets itself back to 30hz interlaced when I open it up again.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
How much should I be spending? The store I bought this 1 A one at had 2 port 2.1 A chargers but they were only $8, which sounds really cheap to me.
And I only have the one 850 mA charger because it's the one that came with my phone.
They don't always provide the best charger a phone can use, and that seems pretty low for a phone that's viable in 2018. I highly doubt the 2.1 does that much on both ports simultaneously, but that's a lot more headroom to work with even if it's a shitty one. Ideally you'd go with anker shit, but even cheap no name works out sometimes. Just don't go spending a lot on aukey. I fucking hate their shit.

I am planning to make my own RV but one thing that has been bugging me is how I will get internet. I have an 'unlimited' plan and can use hotspot but it does have a limit and slows down INSANELY so I was looking for other options.
I thought about ways I could easily access public wireless points from inside of my RV in user friendly ways for family or friends. My first thought is to use a laptop or SBC with a powerful directional antenna to connect to wifi that is indoors and probably at a far distance like a few parking spaces and a second normal omnidirectional antenna for creating a static wifi network inside the RV.
Would this be possible? I have limited knowledge of how networking and antennas work. Thanks for any advice!

It's slower. Also it tends to destroy flash memory since that's not what they're designed for. An external SSD is better, although you can't run TRIM over usb, which means an eventual performance hit to most drives.

The drive is failing, the best you can do is try. Worst case scenario it doesn't work and you lose everything.

Make sure to check what the disks are labeled as, the source disk (failing one) may not be sda and the destination disk (new one) may not be sdb.

If it's not lasting, then the batteries are not storing a charge. Replace them if you can. UPS batteries don't last forever, even if they are just in passthrough mode the whole time. I just replaced the UPS batteries where I work a couple months ago. They are suppose to be replaced every eight years or so. Over 200 batteries lol. Good workout.

Sorry, I should explain.
Where I live ISP provide internet through broadband, so the UPS is connected to a router and Ubiquiti Nanostation.
That way even if the power is out I can still get internet.
