So these have been arriving the past few days depending on when yours got shipped. I'm still waiting for mine, probably will be here early next week.
Anybody else getting a Pixel 3? What are you most excited about for it? What carrier are you on? If you hate it, what don't you like about it?

I wanna get this guy to play games with, I have been playing Minecraft for years on Android and I also have picked up PUBG Mobile. This might help me play those and maybe even Fortnite, though I'm less into that game.
They've been doing wonders with the whole line, even the first one though the aesthetics were a little bland on that one (and that damn mono bottom speaker).
Why though? The Pixel 3s (and the Pixel 2s running Android Pie) are the only phones with on board AI learning. Plus I don't like Apple, whether you like them or not, I'm just not into their phones, especially when the Pixel 2 still has a better camera than more recent iPhones that have come out.
Also decided to try this. Always get a case if you're dropping that much money on a device, though I'm just paying for it for two years with my phone bill. Pretty affordable for $40 a month.

Thought about it but the battery life is crap so definitely not worth the upgrade over current generation.

i'm fine with my pixel 2 desu. i expect to be using it for... quite a while. it's solid, pleasant to use. the android on it only has google bloat (like every Android device ootb you can get from a carrier).
Still using my pixel 1 XL 128GB. Works great, still gets updates and it still has a headphone jack.
Why would I need to upgrade?

I got my pixel 3XL yesterday it's a great phone the screen is fantastic it's a Samsung panel. I installed a application called "nacho notch". It's a toggle setting application. It hides the notch and overlays the time and battery info on the very top of the phone so you still get more screen height wise.
