Considering getting a Note 9 because of a good deal on at the moment. Is the stylus at all useful? Is the camera good?
What do y’all think of the Note 9?

Note 9's have too much Samsung shit. and there might be a possible battery issue with them
Best phone you can get now, by far
It's good, but overpriced.
Well, I can't see anyone else making something that can compete with N9 on all hardware aspects. The downside, however, is that Samsung will release Android 9 way too late; somewhere in March, I think.
If you're going to use the stylus it's pretty fucking good
Best large Android phone atm.
Only Huawei has better cameras (especially low light), and iPhones and Pixels usually make better photos due to better software.
Overpriced though.
You can get 90% of it for less than half the price.
Get Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
only 1 USB

Nice.
Examples?
How good of a deal?
It really matters if you want advice
Why would anyone get chinknet personal info, and identity stealer pro?
Not everyone gets turned on by the thought of someone monitoring their masturbatory patterns.
It's 2018's best phone. Yes, even with Samsung's huge bloatware. Let that sink in.
I got one on sale. It's amazing. If you can afford one, get it.
I prefer the chinkbotnet than the three letters agencies botnet.
Tbh, the stylus isn't really so useful, but it worth for display, battery, camera, soc
Easily the best phone on the market if you dont have manletmits. Everything is butter and theyve finnally allowed you to uninstall gay samsung apps. Pretty happy with it man
You can do the same with pic related.
>bloatware and lagwiz
yeah uh-huh not happening
Link?
Those are less precise and offer no pressure sensitivity, you fool. Also doesn't store in the phone. Neck yourself.
aliexpress.com
>no pressure sensitivity
Muh curve.
What do you do with pressure sensitivity on 6" screen?
>a good deal on at the moment
How good of a deal? Link me senpai
Those are shit and you know it
I just dropped mine, wasn't that high of a fall and I don't think it landed on the screen, no damage whatsoever luckily. But now my autism is triggered and I feel as if something inside broke.
Jeez anyone else know this feel? Also, are the Notes 9 damage resilient at all?
It's a good phone if you can afford it.
Only thing that annoys me about mine is the curve and non removable battery.
>Curved Screen
>Touchjizz
No thanks
>670€
The pen allows for precise screen input. Only you can say if you would find that use. I do use it for occasional note or more for controlling pc's in remote desktops sessions where the pen makes it unmatched by any other phone.
The Samsung pen detects when the pen is close to the screen and draws a cursor on the screen so you can see exactly where you are about to press. A capacitive pen like the one you have does not do the same which make the whole thing a much poorer experience.
please help
Note 9 if you have the cash, OP6T if wanna save a little.
Please don't buy the Pixel 3 XL and that stupid notch.
The only real feature that the Pixel 3 has over the others is the camera. If that is not the thing you use the most you are getting a bad deal.
>good deal on at the moment
how much of a good deal?
its nice.
Horrifying color banding and disgusting black crush, just like the s9.
Hilarious how none of the (((social media influencers))) aka. reviewers never mention any of it.
Only autists care about that shit
Samsung Experience is not that bad. There is only one battery story and the details with that is questionable if you read the article.
Best phone I ever bought. Highly recommend it if you can afford it
This
Where
The Samsung apps are unironically better than alternatives except the browser (bromite, GG). Non samsung apps are nigger tier garbage. There is nothing wrong with the battery.
That's like comparing a broken pencil to a ballpoint pen with a laser pointer, you inbred.
I got it for $500 and it's been a pretty good phone.
Found you!
>$500
Where pls?
No replaceable battery.. and the modest sized battery doesn't last that long. Amoled displays eat battery and WILL burn in if you leave your screen on overnight. You could easily fall asleep watching some 8 hour Nazi weebo bullshit documentary or some shit and 8 hours of your keyboard being open will easily burn letters into your screen permanently. I've seen it, it doesn't take much.
Also have fun smashing the back of it, shits designed to be as fragile as possible because MUH WIRELESS CHARGING they build them out of glass... Fucking GLASS. No thanks.
Never saw the point of the Note series unless you have big hands or you're a mom that loves to write grocery shopping shit with the stylus.
You mean the 10.000 V-bucks?
Write.
Not the op, but it's actually much better writing with the stylus with pressure based output.
Phone is good. It will make you a god at jackbox.tv
eBay, but you should expect to pay more since I got mine with a bad ESN since I'm not gonna use any mobile networks with it.
jesus christ just imagine unironically buying this
Too expensive for what you get. But nice battery.
is there much of a difference between that phone and the s8? I can get it for half the rice of a note 9
How many years Samsung phones get official updates?
Just get the iPhone XS/XR. The Note 9 will only just get 2 Android updates in its lifetime while the XS/XR will probably still be supported until 2025. And like posted, the Note 9 stylus is pretty much a gimmick. You would probably never use it a lot anyway. iPhones bring much more value for money.
Flagships get 2 android version upgrade, unsure for the rest.
As for security patch, s6 stopped getting those back in April. My guess is that the same fate will happen to the s7 next spring.
This. My 5S runs iOS12 while my Samsung S4 is stuck on Lollipop.
My S7 only has last years security patch.
No one cares about how poor you are. 99% of people upgrade after 2-3 years. Congrats using a slow as fuck phone even with iOS 12.
What if the person doesn't want to use shitty iOS? Only .01% of autists and absolute poorfags will use a phone more than 3-4 years and a Android flagships get security updates for that long. The "muh 30 years support" line from apple fags just show how poor they are
LE EPIC GAYMIN PHONE XDDDDD
Newer iOS versions make older phones run like absolute shit and the battery life becomes abysmal.
I'd rather have an older iOS version, with security patches, and long term app support. (Apps on iOS stop supporting older iOS versions so you're forced to update into newer, shitter iOS)
Be jealous
>iPhones bring much more value for money
Next time try to be more subtle
Just get an OPPO V9, fuck Samsung and their low quality product
i was thinking of upgrading but my note 4 still works just fine.
>Is the camera good?
>smartphone
the answer is always no
iOS 12 actually made my iPhone 6s feel brand new again. All of the major stuff is much better optimized.
This is literally the first time this has happened in iOS history, admittedly, but I think Apple is changing their approach and going for a 3-4 year use cycle rather than 1-2.
