I hum it

144p youtube videos.

Whistling

I find using my ears works best.

FLACs -> Rockboxed Benjie T6 -> Tin T2

If you mean formats, then I just do a bitperfect stream to my DAC for all formats and let it do everything else.

bitstream out to my Denon Atmos receiver.

opus because mp3 is for retarded niggers

High-quality mp3s are seriously indiscernible from lossless formats, unless you've got a flawless setup and plug in directly to your brains.

>he doesn't read the raw data of a music file and then reproduce it with his own voice
Why are you even on Jow Forums?

the tinnitus that was caused by years of loud headphones fluctuates and creates melodies within my mind

>352.8kHz
is that even safe?

no it makes you autistic

phone and $10 earbuds

Why bother with lossy if storage is so cheap?

Onboard ALC 888s to Superlux HD668B. Is a €60 DAC/Amp worth it? I was looking at the Fx Audio Dac-x6.

that's the same setup i'm using now, dac-x6 + 668b
i like it and the volume knob is comfy

I rip the mp3s off youtube and play it with vlc.

this is the easiest and best way to do it

Also I listen to songs on repeat and pick the next one after it gets boring after half an hour or so.

In this order
>FLAC or MP3 source files, I get from torrent or ripped CD (because I actually buy CD)
>Foobar 2000
>either ASIO or windows default driver depending of what hardware I'm using:
>either Scarlett 2i2 gen 1 or motherboard's line out
>a fucking great hifi amp from 1991
>homemade 250W 12" active subwoofer, high level input
>a pair of shitty noname speakers on which I changed both loudspeaker and tweeters because I exploded them

how do you rip the MP3 from a CD?
>t Ubuntu user

Open the Ubuntu app store and search for sound juicer or something like that, I don't really remember the name.

This but unironically

The DAC X6 with a decent op amp (like $10 max) and maybe the jumpers set to high gain is nice. On high gain the power output is stupid, so it'll drive anything. Windows volume control never worked with mine, but it works in Linux.

Actually that isn't the easiest way. And you're using a movie player to play music. Downloading the worsr quality of music too and it takes effort i'm sure manually getting each video.

Install:
Foobar2000
and
git.fuwafuwa.moe/SMLoadrDev/SMLoadr/releases

download off private trackers and import them into musicbee

Mp3 on the home server served by the minidlna, listening with foobar with upnp plugin.

Cassette
Digital is botnet

abcde

Because Jow Forums told me a tiny overpriced SSD is better than HDD and now I got no space for local media storage.

>Not using your SSD as a cache for the HDD.
Bcache and lvm support tiered storage.
>Inb4 failure
Use backups nigger.
>Inb4 laptop
Get a desktop faggot

But Jow Forums told me HDD will soon be obsolete and generate more noise, you should better stay away from boomer tech!

HDMI into an amp

Apple Music on my Mac (iTunes)

DSD is a complete and utter meme. 24/96 is something you will never, ever need more than.

in the best setup to piss off /hpg/ schiitstack + m50x

t. virgin

16/44.1 in reality though

FLAC

>DSD
>352.8kHz
What are you, a bat?

>He doesnt listen to his music in 1080p

YouTube 720p and SoundCloud :^)

on-board SPDIF out@24/44.1 to monitors with a built in DAC and class A/B amp, along with a sub.
Actually play music via foobar.

For actually watching shit/listening to things in browser/general headphone use I just have a $20 USB chink DAC and a pair mfrv6's.

YouTube Music through a Home Max device, when at home, or with the Pixel 3 XL while out with the new and outstanding quality, USB-C headphones. I sometimes bring the Pixelbuds (bluetooth).

Spotify
It doesn't require autism to get it working.

Whatever quality I can get for the tracks I like, foobar on PC, neutron on my phone, SoundCloud for track previews, BA headphones.

SSDs aren't supposed to replace HDDs. Not yet anyway. OS and programs on ssd, data on hdd. Laptops have an m2 slot precisely for this kind of setup.

FLAC files downloaded from the web played with mpd+sonata+mpris indicator for gnome integration.
All that going through my GPU to my EIZO monitor via DP to which I plug in my headphones.

Because Im not a fucking aspie.
